Great question @rogerdroid42 , the msrp on that particular hypermotard is $20k. Not a price point I would say is first bike territory. Now if you have spent a bit of time on a dirt bike and want a relative linear transition, and have the dough to drop then yeah. - Tim
shame you couldn’t really open her up and redline it.. its one of the best road bikes out there for just hooning around - it does need some tweaks and setup and more money throwing at it - but once done it be a keeper. Had mine 3 yrs since new and done over 200 videos on my channel on it 🇮🇹
Hopefully with subscriber count growing, we will be able to attend track days where these bikes really shine. As you can see from the tires, this bike has had some fun at the track. We will check out your channel. Thank you, for watching the video- Tim
Every review of the 950 I've heard is positive. I know it won't do wheelies like my 115 hp Kaw H2 triple 2 stroke but, it handles much much better I'm sure. The H2 would do power wheelies at 100 mph in 3rd gear, even with clip-ons and me weighing about 200 lbs, just hang the front with the twist of the throttle. It weighed about the same as the 950. I'm trying to convince my wife she could ride with me, lol. They seem to be holding their value very well. Thanks for the details.
I can tell you that it will do wheelies, and power wheelies just fine from personal experience. In the video it started picking it up with me just rolling into the throttle. At one point it picked up in third gear. The hyper is a very capable bike for hooning around. The engine is a proven platform found in many of Ducatis lineup. -Tim
What do you think of the Hypermotard?
What is the price and would you recommend as a first bike?

@@TheDucatiDads I’ve done 14 trackdays on mine putting many superbikes to shame on our narrow twisty UK tracks 👍🏻
@hypermotardking I watched a couple of your videos. You have some good skills.
