Hey Drew! 👋 Like #15 👍 Those were some sick 1980 Topps MLB cards! 🔥 My favorites were Henderson 9 and Henderson 8! ⚾️ Great video! 💥 I also have some multiple Funko POPs stockpiled like this! Good luck reaching 205 subscribers! 🍀 Keep up the great work! 👊
@@CleanCheapShots You’re quite welcome Drew! It’s my pleasure! 😊 You need to add some more videos so I have more to comment on! 👏🏻 I look forward to your next video! 👀 Keep up the great work! 👊
@@CleanCheapShots Thanks for sharing that! 👍 I guess I don’t really have a set schedule! 📆 I look forward to your next one! 👀 Keep up the great work! ⚾️
I am 57. I opened so many packs that I actually have the sequence in which they were packaged. I knew that if I saw a certain player on the front or back, I was in for a nice surprise. Thanks.
Beautiful Henderson cards! So many amazing ones! Hope you work out some trades with the Drew! Only a few weeks until the Nationals. I hope you are able to get to the meet and greet with the you tube community! Tons of great people will be there! Enjoyed and thanks for sharing!
So all these cards were pack fresh? As in you pulled the hendersons from packs you opened? Really curious because i believe psa controls population of this card
Yes sir, they were all pack pulls. Most were from wax packs and some were from rack packs. I believe you are right in that PSA controls this population to some degree. I was able to figure out the sequence of how the cards were packaged many years ago. Thus, I knew that if I saw a certain player on a cello or rack pack, then I was certain to get a Rickey Henderson card. I am actually mentioning that in my next video.
Great question! For years I thought one of the 8s was better than the 9. When I cover the grade and ask friends to guess which one was the 9, they always get it wrong. I have used a jeweler's loupe and I can't find anything that would help with that question.

Very nice assembly of Rickey Henderson cards. I think it's one of the best rookie cards that Topps produced.
Thanks. Henderson RC is one of the better ones for sure. Thanks again.

Thanks!
Wow. Very cool. That’s amazing you have that many.
Thanks. I opened a ton of those packs in the day. In fact, I was opening them up 15 years ago as well still trying to pull a Rickey.
Wow!!’ That is an awesome display of Henderson rookies. You don’t see many PSA 9 examples. Good luck if you decide to trade or sell some of them.
Thank you sir. I am hoping to move a few of those in order to get my 53' Mays.
@@CleanCheapShots what a great addition that will be to your collection. That is my favorite card of Mays. I don’t have it.
@@tjmacvintagecardsnostalgia648 It is the last card I needed graded to complete the 1953 graded set. Thank you sir.

Sweet collection. Top to bottom, the 9 looks a lot more off centered than the eights. Why do you think the nine is a nine compared to the eights?
