I've LOVED making doll houses since I was in 3rd grade and brought home big appliance boxes, putting them together, cutting out windows, adding curtains and making it look like was a real house...then got into smaller doll houses...so much fun!
This is one of the most exquisitely detailed dollhouses I've seen. Beautiful intricately patterned wallpaper, cozy nooks filled with cushions or collections of books, realistic touches such as clothes being ironed or an artist's clutter of paints and tools. And the outdoor scene leading up to it, complete with a telephone pole and a garden ready for harvest, made me all the more excited to 'go inside'. You did an incredible job and Kathleen's dollhouse will inspire viewers making their own mini homes.
What a wonderful comfortable house. I particularly loved the attic w/ newspaper on the ceiling. You put so much thought into your creation. I wish I lived next door to you and could come over and gaze at it in person. Thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us. An inspiration for me.
You can see the "Love" in everything about this dollhouse! I love the outside...the garden, even the little leaves on the ground under the Tree. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this!
Okay... This IS up in the top 3 (at least) of the most stunningly appointed, .. masterfully executed miniature houses I have EVER seen.. And.. I have seen A LOT !! I am counting museum pieces .. I am absolutely blown away by the attention to detail, the decorating sense.. the sheer volume of perfect little items that fill this wonderful little "home" .. So glad I got to see it today ! Thanks for posting this.. ( I know it was 4 years ago, but I am only just seeing it now for the first time .. )

Wow this is beautiful work. Just beautiful and intricate. I loved the typical rooms but seeing extras like the garden, art studio, and sewing rooms just knocks my socks off.

Im in awe. This video inspired me to start making my own miniatures. I'm just a beginner so I purchased a room box to start. I shared this video with my sister and she fell in love. She said this is what she wants her doll house to have. Excellent work.

This dollhouse is amazing it is beautiful the staircase the railing the bottom of the last stairs that is carved so beautiful I mean everything in this house is beautiful it looks like you're looking in a real adult house not a doll house but I know it's a doll house and it's beautiful everything is beautiful I probably have enough dollhouse furniture to fill a house like that one and then another one and then another one cuz I've collected so much over the years but that one is beautiful it's amazing house I love it even down to the screen door on the side that is beautiful I have a screen door like that but I still have to do my doll house to put it on there I remember that screen door cuz we had one like that in our house when I was growing up when I was a little girl thanks for sharing this with everyone
