I want to own my personal go kart track just like this one. This one is 110,000 Sq ft and is the largest go kart track in the U.S I want to buy something similar
The power is instant. So much torque God damn. No engine bogging you just shoot outta corners. I wanna give electric karts a try but I'm worried I'd be wasting my money as the differences between amount of charge in the batteries would make a huge difference. Surely?
mitchellkristoff kristoff I wouldn't really say self brake. Most instance when I do approach a corner I will brake so I wouldn't notice this. I think it's more in a sense where the limited top speed won't cause you to understeer for the wide turns. This is sort of what I was getting at about a little bit faster in my video description. There was one hairpin turn towards the end where I didn't brake enough and ended up understeering. I would be interested to try their "Mach 1" speeds if I can qualify for it lol
I am assuming I'd have to get under some laptime. When I went, they had opened for a little over a week. They did not have timing equipment set up so I had no idea how I did. They had a board that said league coming in February, Mach 1 speed, must qualify. I've heard they now have timing set up but I haven't been back since.
Kevin H oh alright I'm from New York but I have fam out in Connecticut I race high performance race karts outdoor that do like 90 mph so I was just wondering if this was worth a stop in or if it would be to slow if they actually do 45 it's prob worth it
I think if you do go, it'd be better to go when there's less people. I can see why they would limit the top speed for liability reasons. The track lay out was fun but it's fairly narrow. There was a total of 5 racers when I went. I can imagine it'd be frustrating with more. I think in my opinion on-track karting in Wallingford is better but I'd have to give this one a second chance before making a final decision. Also I haven't checked out the other track here at naskart.
0:19 This track is insane! I know my family would love to take it for a spin. Definitely adding this to my bucket list.

I’m going there today! And it looks insane
It’s basically Mario Kart
Can't wait to try this track out. Got to run the other one. I like the chest mount view. Good laps man
Thanks! this was actually a chin view mount. The gopro was mounted on the lower mouth/chin area of my motorcycle helmet.
Don’t think speed is the issue. It’s track width that’s a problem. Very few places to pass.
Did you brake before all the corners or did you just ease off the accelerator and engine brake?
yeah, most of these corners are pretty quick so can lift and gas through, but the tighter turns would definitely need some braking application.
Kevin H cool, thanks. Nice driving, I'll see if I can get to this track soon.
It reminds me of lightning McQueen‘s first race
outstanding
Montville in New London County is much better than Groton, Norwich or New London itself
I heard some rumors that the karts self brake in the corners and shit is this true?
