So proud of my mentor and imagery sensei Jared Haskell for finally achieving Grandmaster Wedding Filmmaker status after that cake shot. Truly stunning... #mamawemadeit
Great shoot! would you be carrying some lights next time ? something portable ? the whole wedding looks like happened in the dark . Again its just my view :)
Acredito que a lente tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8 é bem versátil. Muito bom. Abraços do Brasil. A liz de led gosto muito do YN360iii por ser uma luz bem suave e difusa. Parabéns por compartilhar conhecimento e experiências aqui. 👏
Really surprised many videographers dont take a light to the prep. The wedding dress wold look magic with a rim light or back light. It would give you more options for shots in bad lite rooms. Any thoughts guys?
5 minutes allotted for portraits. U just can’t cause delays that long at these high end events. You also don’t know WHAT a client will be willing to do or where they will go. There are times we lay a portrait session, but it’s just not always possible.
I love the Aputure MC for this reason. Super discrete and easy to attach to a flexible magnetic mount that can be positioned just about anywhere. Super helpful for situations like this bride prep where the natural window light is beautiful but the subjects can be a bit too much in the shadow
We own three brands. We shot this wedding under our Merriment Films brand, and which is designed as our lower priced brand. We charged something like $2800 for this.
Lots of them. Adjusting your settings to the situation is critical! But in terms of base codec and picture profile, FujiFilm X-T4 on Astia film emulation. 4k 10 bit H.265 codec.
@@WeddingFilmSchool I'm experiment it with all, but my current favorite is Pro neg Hi using xf50mm f1 lens but not as good as your footage. I'm so mad curious 😅
BTS camera is too shaky and off level. Have him/her on a monopod, tripod or gimbal. Please no more hand held. At 23:39 where the camera is filming the floor, why not edit it out.
@@WeddingFilmSchool Sry for misunderstanding! I wanted to say that it would have been good to have used a stabilization solution on the camera / phone that will follow you. Don't "polish" the video. Maybe next time
The pink light on the dance floor actually adds a lot of emotional color!
Wow, I love how they walk in the snowy street. Simply beautiful!
Super fun and totally unplanned! They were just holding to walk over to the Library and then a storm comes out of nowhere!

Roll audio for 2 hours: Gotta love WAV audio files. They're so small compared to video files!

And thanks for responding sooo fast lol
Where do you put the gimbal when you switch to handheld so that you have easy access to it when you need it?
On the ground somewhere safe
Hi, great video, what brand and model is the led light that you used on minute 26:29 of the video? looks pretty strong ..
It’s an Aputure 60x. We do a review on the channel if you want to check it out.
Did I Hear you doing the hold your breath exhale during some of those shots during prep? I do the same when trying to get a steady shot handheld.
Yep

Hello, one question: did you used canon lenses with the x-t4? with which adapter? thanks
Yes.

How many wedding do the assistants usually shoot before 2nd shooting
30ish… but it depends. Some never 2nd shoot.
Gezz what couple do you coax to walk in the rain?
They had to walk. Hotel to wedding venue.
@@WeddingFilmSchool gezzz the bride must of been freezing. Some brides would of freaked. Gr8 work with this wedding.
@@WeddingFilmSchool also can't find the link the the finished client vid?
