Thank you guys so much for the kind words!!! You were so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable during the photos on our wedding day. You’ve already done such a wonderful job on the video! Danielle and I can’t wait to see the rest!
You're the man, Kyle. Seriously love you guys - excited to send you the full film!!
Bro pls put your slog setting plssss
What are the major things you have discovered switching from Canon to Sony. I will be glad to know. I think it's mentioned in this video
Where is the ndfiltr about such a harsh light?
Do you mostly do shade
I think the single most impressive aspect of this entire video is that they don't sweat wearing dark clothes running gimbal setups in the sun. Props!
how this is possible !
One thing I’ve learned from this video is how calm you guys are. I really appreciate that. Just did a wedding for the first time alone without my wife and I performed much better when I remained calmed and communicated with everyone
This was definitely one the best wedding BTS’s videos I’ve seen on TH-cam. The fact that Jake blew the grand entrance makes it that much greater 😂…even the greats have their moments
Its crazy you would post this for free!
That mirror look was so good too 🔥
I’m only 9 minutes in and this is GOLD. The fact that you guys went out of your way to do this is so sick. Extremely helpful. Instant sub.
Appreciate you, thank you 🔥❤
It's great to see that you guys were so relaxed and still managed to get everything perfect.
You guys really took away my fear of filming weddings, I love the video my man!
I love it Jake, keep it up...
I hope you don't stop showing us behind the scenes of weddings like this...
We appreciate 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thank you for bringing so much value! Truly worth a lot!
This channel is going to blow the hell up!! Amazing information & BTS. My new go to channel as beginner trying to get better
Thanks so much for sharing the entire shoot.
I just love your content so much bro. All the details you explain, they are from a pure experience. Keep up the good work. Hoping 1 day I could walk on ur footsteps.
you guys are amazing fr..... I'm really in love with your style of shooting weddings and I find this content very inspirational ♥
This was amazing on so many levels thank you both for your vulnerability and creativity in this, you guys are gems! Keep it up!
Love this and fun to watch and to learn from. Absolutely beautiful as is the couple. AWESOME!
Great work, as always! I'm still taking notes here!
Great work,thanks
That "lookup at me through the mirror" shot was perfect. Also wanted to thank you for being a member of the "crank yo shutter club".
Right! I always play around with my shutter.
Always great to watch other fimmakers process. You guys are killing it, really appreciate the video!
Thank you!!!
Fantastic content! Thanks guys!
Absolutely brilliant! 👏Your approach to wedding cinematography is truly inspiring. The way you capture the essence of each moment is just magical. It's incredible to see your creative process laid out like this.
Please keep posting these behind-the-scenes insights, they're invaluable for fellow filmmakers and enthusiasts alike.
Can't wait to see what you'll share next!
Wow thank you - appreciate the kind words!!

Amazing job again bro!! you’re my inspiration to keep doing weddings! 🙏🏻🤝🏻
Wow thank you 🎉
I enjoyed it i couldn't stop imagining how my next wedding shoot will be
You're gonna crush it 👊🏼
Thank you guys! It was the best clip that i ever seen about weeding film... thank you! Impressive!
Thanks, guys, for sharing such a good video, showing how it's done in practice, here in Brazil we have practically no content like this. Wonderful, congratulations on a job well done!
thank you!!
50mm 1.2 GM is the secret. It's my favorite lens. The bokeh heavyweight champ paired with any FX or A7 will give you the fastest autofocus, and it never misses. FX3, FX6, FX9 and A7RV. I don't use the FX6 and 9 for weddings, just live event productions for the SDI output. My arsenal with 24-70, 70-200, and 16-35 GM II lenses. S-Log/4K60 or 120. Beautiful work.
That lens is GOLD
Wow!! Can I be your friend ? you sound like you’re a partner with Sony corporation
Just awesome !!! Thank You guys !
Thank YOU!
New subscriber! Great documentary on wedding videography!

Thanks for sharing
What a great great video... guys... I love your chanel... awsome... and thank you.
We love you!!
What?!? Jake my favorite filmmaker was in my hometown and I didn’t get to see him. Awesome work guys! You gotta let me know next time you are in Phoenix!
Appreciate you my man! Absolutely
Fantastic content, thanks for sharing, one question, the microphone hidden does not generate noise from the scraping between the jacket and the vest?
That was beautiful😍😍😍
Thank you so much for this content it's real helpful I've learned so much from this video alone. Can you please try to give us a breakdown on how you deal with footage when you editing.
This is so freaking good guys! Thanks for this. You're the best in this business in my mind!
So to clarify- do you crank your shutter and not use NDs at all anymore? 😅
how are you guys not look exhausted. every wedding I shot with my team plus bts I'm like crawling on the floor at the end of the night!
I don't even shoot weddings but I still watched the entire thing 🤣
Amazing content as always guys 🙌 long time member of your runaway course and these tutorials are flawless. Love the fact you switched to the FX3. I was just wondering if ye were ever going to do a video here or over on the course page about the FX3 settings set up you have and gimbal settings? Your focus/exposure/framing is always spot on and your gimbal movements are like butter. Just would love to be able to utilise my FX3 and RS2 to the same extent ❤️
Great ideas - i'll add this to our content list
I liked that very much, it was a very nice shot😉 thanks guys✌🏻
Good job!
wow this was nice
Your video is gonna be really helpful... and you just got a subscriber 👍
Loved this, super helpful! Are you guys shooting on gimbals pretty much all day?
excelentes tomas .........,,,,,y gracias por tu enseñanzas .......saludos desde Perú📸📸📸🎞📽🖥💻
I’m a photographer but I’m doing video for a wedding next April. This video helped give me an idea of what shots to get. Thanks
Thanks for watching!!
where we can watch the full length wedding video? i am thrilled to watch that.
You both nailed it Man
That 50 mm & 85 is 🔥 @those night scènes
Best combo 🔥🤝🏼
@@JakeWeisler what's the next wide lens that u use.. if 50 mm is to tight.. for the scene? on gimbal
Very nice results. You do a great job and come across very well. 👍🌞 Many Greetings from northern Germany.
Thanks !
Muchas Gracias Muchachos!!!. Awsome Video Gracias!!.
Gracias!!!
Wow! Pedazo de video! Una pregunta, siempre grabáis sin regla de 180? No usais ND?
I can't explain how helpful and informative this video is, so many nuggets to walk away with, it's a great primer for your course I'm guessing! Nate will you link any of the gear that was mentioned, particularly the lights and other accessories?
All gear is linked in the description!
@@JakeWeisler Thanks, I was looking for a new link, but got it, it's under your gear link...
I have yet to see any filmmaking style that like better then you guys! Keep up the good work!
Wow that’s the nicest thing to hear - wow thank you ❤
I’m not a fan of commenting but I have to appreciate you guys, for such a detailed insight not even editing where Nate accidentally dropped the light, I had to subscribe, Like and share. Coz it so realistic much love guys from west Africa
Wow thank you for the kind words, excited to have you here!
Guys what a dope content! Did you use the Zhiyun with an external charger? Cause it last 30 min of full power right? 🙏🏽
Great job guys! Why not use ND filters and how do you deal with shutter speed?
awesome video and bts! question about fireworks, do you lock exposure or have it on auto iso? especially for entrance where its dark, then fireworks come on for a few seconds, then it goes dark again?
Wonderful and thank you.. What LUTS are you using?
Gamut! Link is in the description!
Nate, when you said don't be afraid to get shots without their face, I think more people need to take this into consideration because these shots are more like teaser shots that you can use in the beginning of a film before you show who the couple is and use the shots as anticipation.
Exactly 🔥🔥🔥
Yes, agreed!!
Jake great work and info as usual.. oh you are always lucky to be filming with planes flying over your ceremony lol.
Yah idk what it is about my luck with planes 😂
@@JakeWeisler 🛩
Fantastic just subbed! We would love to see a solo operator version of this as well as how you like to edit and color grade your wedding videos, thanks so much
Check out the channel! There’s a “solo shooting” job shadow we posted a few weeks ago! And a color grading tutorial :)
nice video. i love it!
Sensacional! Lindo demais!
Wow that's amazing brother love your work always assaali from Kenya Mombasa Africa
appreciate you!
Do you use some kind of ND filters or something? Or what specs you used in the 50 mm on the fx3?
Guys, here in Brazil in Belém do Pará, we've been doing this for years, we deliver a summary of the video ready on the same day and the photographers already deliver approximately 400 to 500 photos of the entire event already edited on their cell phones and even deliver a mini book telling the whole wedding story, it's been at least 5 years since we've been doing this.
Beautiful content I like it
Good job
This is insightful, and I must commend the photographer for not coming into your shots unnecessarily.
Love the video guys. Love the one handed technique. lol Where you able to do that with the C70?
Yeah! Not too heavy!
What follow mode do you primarily use? I feel like I am always adjusting with my joystick too much to keep the frame.
I like my settings super stiff and controlled. Rarely ever use the joystick, always just tilt the camera for a much more organic look
Always dress to impress!
always 🔥
nice ❤
really enjoy these type of videos, great duo as always. Keep them coming guys
Appreciate you thanks!!!
when do you shoot scenes at 30 fps and when do you shoot at 60 fps ?
vocês são incriveis, conteudo sensacional, sou do brasil e estou assistindo tudo. obrigado
Um abraço de um fã do Brasil!!!
Love Brazil ❤
Jakich lutów używacie?
