Incredibly impressive to not only have the knowledge and skills to do the work, but to be able to film, edit, and produce high quality content at the same time. I really enjoy the channel and look forward to future videos. Cheers!
Appreciate it man!
200% agree, makes my night when you upload a new video. Beautiful cars, great content.
Chris is the most interesting channel on TH-cam for me. I literally wait for the next episode just like your favorite show😂
@@ChrisSullivan69love the long videos anyways I have a 01 cobra and trying to rebuild a 03 dsg cobra roller so I’m liking the long detailed videos and how your doing everything as I’m not looking for the most power in just looking for something reliable and fun
You ain't kidding, like I said in his last video.
This man is legit, nothing but respect
I mean can we just give this man a round of applause?! 👏👏👏 He never fails to deliver and has literally given us a movie to watch this Friday 😂 bravo sir! This is real TH-cam, not that Clickbait BS! Never change Chris! Mans built a complete drivetrain from scratch in 5 weeks! Who does that?!?!?!?!
Absolutely and the man doing everything by himself 🤯
Your attention to detail is very commendable. You don't find craftsmanship of this level anymore.
My man! Dropping those 1+ hour videos! I can't wait to watch this at home later tonight.
dropping beards too
No doubt... It's like settling in to watch a good movie. Awesome 😎
Came across bros channel because of the vet but stayed for the quality content and well put together builds and its always something to learn.
He's amazing.
Awesome vid start to finish. From welding the housing and vbands to the blower assembly to the upr cooling mod to the alternator upgrade, the blower and injector clean up, the rst clutch, tick shifter, and clean up and dropping in the motor… video has it all. Such a perfectly setup Cobra. What a great restoration!
Appreciate it!
Came for the Cobra, stayed for the mustache. Loving your videos and content, as always!
Soup strainer 👌. Thanks for watching!
Well done brother. The previous owner is watching like "Damn...Can I get that back?" 😂
Sure $30k 😅
@@ChrisSullivan69 Lmao you'd have to ask higher. SB Cobra, that things only gonna go up in value! 📈💪. You're killin it dude, can't wait to hear her running.
I've always wanted a terminator, never had the space/time/money to give one a proper life, so I'm living vicariously through this series 😊
That engine bay looks way better than factory
Found your channel when you first started this build and since then I’m sucked in waiting for each new video. I would watch just to see the car but you make the videos so much more. It’s not just some 30 min complete build video like so many others. You attention to detail in the cars along with your filming, narrating, and editing make it a journey we get to experience with you. 1:08:27 was the best part showing you’re just like the rest of us lol
Appreciate it man🤝
I think the day im ready to buy a c6 i wait till this guys starts a c6 project to get it from him if only people would be as meticulous this is awsome
i am envious of this guys car collection, his garage set up, his knowledge and the number of hair follicles per square inch on his face. i wish i could grow a beard like that
chris in sad mode: this is going to be a long video.....everyone watching: celebrate
Who else wants to drive up to NH and grab a beer with Chris 🤷♂️🤣 great work man 💪
This channel will blow up in 2024. Been here for maybe 2 years and from the beginning the quality of work and production has always blown my mind and I’ve always been surprised this channel doesn’t have more subscribers.
Let's hope so! Thanks for watching man 🤙
Bro it don't matter how long the videos are you have a great fan base! Keep them coming 👍👍👍👍 Happy Holidays
Thank you for giving these older cars another life! It's too bad people are starting to let these beautiful cars sit in ruin!
Couldn't agree more!
Your attention to detail is amazing and the patience to the project is incredible. I’m inspired to get busy on my next project. Thanks.
Go for it!
I think you’re the best at home mechanic channel on TH-cam. I definitely wish I can have you put my car together ❤
Another great one, idk how many hours are into this build but every minute isnt wasted. One thing i think wed all enjoy here is a explanation of your background, how you came to learn all these techniques and mechanics, your about my age i think, and with a badass home and 4 vehicles, I need to get on your level dude lmao, keep killing it
Meeting a corvette and ford owner is rare …. It feels good to be part of the club 🎉nice garage bro 😎
TH-cam pay this man good he is putting it the work love it
Steve Morris has a great video on his channel with Chris Razer who is probably one of the best welders in the country reading through the comments from all the welders in there, well worth the hour to watch it
Hey Chris, I actually prefer the longer videos when the content is this good. You'll have me by the channel every time. Great series, can't wait to hear it start & drive for the first time.
That’s sick I’m currently building motor for my lightning
Happy 2024 to you and your family! This video was definitely a banger! I understand that life is life, and you either get busy living or not. As always, thanks for sharing.
Take note of Ken's cables. He soldered/heat-shrinked (probably used adhesive heat shrink) his cable lugs. I would highly recommend you do that to your ground cable as well. If you do that, use tinned copper lugs instead of plain copper.
While it's not absolutely necessary on ground cables, it really cleans up the cables.
Good tip 🤙
Excellent video. As someone that is also OCD, I find this content very inspiring.
Dude, thank you for wearing eye protection while wire wheeling…I see so many people that don’t. Thanks for the content, can’t wait to see it done! Sonic Blue Terminator is my dream car!
Big PPF guy
I normally don’t watch long videos, but I watched this one. Good stuff.
If it’s a 30 minute video or a 3 hour video im still going to watch. Keep doing what you’re doing and make these cars function as good as they look!!
I appreciate that!
Another amazing video. Whomever buys your restored Cobra is one lucky person! Attention to detail. I'll say it again, "I can't believe you don't have a million subscribers." I have noticed an uptick in subscribers lately. Keep grinding, the subscribers are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this channel is sooo underrated been watching for about a year now
Awesome work! Love your content, and no need to apologize for making a long'ish video. Loved warching every minute of it!
Hands down the best movie of 2024 so far! I would watch hours of this and never get bored. I genuinely enjoy every second of your videos man. Keep up the hard work!
Also the starter part got me cracking! 🤣
What does Mr. Sullivan do for a living? He is able to accomplish all this "hands-on" work with a fine attention to detail with fantastic ability, all while being apparently finanicially stable.
Dude that’s my dream garage. I’d have a couple more fords but still lol…you should do a truck build…78 ford or a k5…lifted…800 hp. That would be sick.
the music starting at 20:18 makes me feel like im watching the weather channel in 2002
Max volume with dad asleep in the recliner
Mannnn i wish i knew you so i could help you work on the engine...this seems so peaceful and fulfilling to me
Can’t go wrong with the KMJ. My wife and I installed one on our 03 terminator last summer and it’s been great.
A Ford Lightning was the second pickup I ever wanted! The 1951 F-100 from Sanford and Son was the first! 😁👍🏼
Espically since theirs no bugs out. Gotta love that ..
How do you only have 55k subscribers? This is just as good if not better than the big channels with 1 mil+ subscribers.
Started watching for the Cobra content, keep coming back for the sweet sweet B roll music!
Your so thorough with your builds man. Truly inspiring!
And remember boys and girls, when you rebuild your lightning with a smashed off front end dont forget to save or replace your ceramic resistor that hangs by the front bumper for your fuel pump .
Awesome that you’re getting this knocked out all by yourself Chris, motivation and patience never seems to waiver! Keep it up buddy
This video is straight up dropping free game for anyone looking to jump into the 03-04 market, so awesome. In 2011 I wish I had bought my uncles 3,200 mile torch red. Will always be one of my dream cars
It’s nice hearing someone on TH-cam who sounds like I do talking, Rich Rebuilds doesn’t sound like he’s from MA
Born and raised
@@ChrisSullivan69 I can tell by the accent lol
1:11:51 seconds. Best feeling in the world finally mated
Wow ! Well done. The fact you do this solo is very impressive.
Because of you, I upped my game on my 98 Cobra. Thanks. Triple
Can't go wrong with KMJ! They are real close friends of the family. His boys and my son have been best friends since Elementary school.
I like the long vids. When you produce great content that keeps people engaged, it fly's by. Even when this video was done, i wanted to watch more. Great job bro. Happy Holidays and Happy New years. Wishing nothing but health and great prosperity for you and your family in 2024. Cheers.
Same to you sir. Cheers!
Going on the record here with I said in my head “you should have put the starter motor on before the long tube headers”. I wonder why Ford didn’t use Loctite 510 for the blower to manifold “gasket”. It’s all I used BITD for the Allen Engine Supercharger kit (Eaton M90S) and it worked well. It’s also anaerobic and easy to work and clean up. Sets up relatively quick. Nonetheless excellent video series. Keep ‘em coming.
The alternator looks good on there! I would have probably bolted the engine ground on while it was out, it bolts to the engine mount stud which is now buried lol. Oh well, you have a lift, it won't be too difficult! Can't wait for the next video.
Underrated automotive TH-camr
im still blown away that your channel only has 55k subs . you content is such high quality and exactly what i look for in car content. keep up the good work man.
I appreciate that!
I had to double check that I thought it was 155k, it’s a 56k now must’ve hit 56 not long after you said that
Pro tip: even if you’re going in from the bottom, stuff can rub…. Got it✅
Awesome progress🤜🏼🤛🏼👌🏼
Honestly coming across your videos was a calling because this channel has been helping me out decide and learn on how to approach this swap on my crown vic when it comes time to do it
I work at auto fair ford in Manchester as a engine/trans tech and I can respect your hard work it's not easy believe me I know keep up the good work man
Your video edit skills are on point when you went from having a beard to no beard when you were welding at 21:24 in the video.
The longer the videos are the better for me no complaints here
Chris ...from someone who cant do anything with cars..lol. my wife and i love watching your videos. Happy new year and keep it rolling...
Happy new year!
The detail of your work is amazing.
new nickname for the Cobra "Clutch only"
Chris, it's been intriguing seeing the cash flow dumped into this sweet cobra build. As we all know 😅.. hopefully a turn around in the
Agreed!
Chris, your channel has quickly become one of my favorites. Can't wait for the next video and see the cobra fire up.
Coming soon!
This is one of the best automotive channels on TH-cam shout out from the UK no fluff no BS just solid quality content
Thank you sir!
Everything came out great so far! You will love that tick shifter. Can’t wait to hear that sucker run
What an awesome job and video. You have done a major overhaul on motor and transmission. The only thing I saw that I would paint was the front carriage but thats no big deal. Thank you for the video showing it was great and had alot of information on rebuilding a motor and transmission. You are a super man towards rebuilding and restoration of these cars. Most guys would cut corners but you don't leave anything under the mat.
Wel worth the wait! Can’t believe you do all this by yourself!!! Awesome use of a hobo freight motorcycle jack. Can’t wait for the first start and I’m a diehard LS guy.
Thanks!
Seeing you've uploaded a new video is like Christmas again 🎉
“ this channel “ is unique… guy has a good life, awesome cars and a head on his shoulders and the “ fact “ he still has a budget…Smart with his money and content. Good job bud, hope all is well and a great future to come your way.
Appreciate it sir 🫡
You could post a 2 hour long video every other day and i would watch every one! This is the most detailed, best work I've seen on a TH-cam channel and its all done like we would do it in our own garage. At a time when everyone else is getting away from actually wrenching in order to get more clicks, you are staying true to what actual car enthusiast like to see. Keep up the great work and cant wait to see the final product.
🤙🤙
Long videos are where it's at! Great material while working from home 😁👍
Bro, I know about the pain of installing a T56 Magnum with a Ram Pro Street twin disk clutch in my 95 Mustang. I had the adjustable pivot and everything, but it still needed threads cut off to mate things up... I had that transmission off 8 TIMES before i got it right. Now, 2 years later, I'm converting to a hydraulic clutch cause i keep melting my clutch cable even with heat management wrapped around it. Great video💪🏆
That's why I measured lol. Had to thread it all the way in and still barely had clearance!
@@ChrisSullivan69 with the amount of threads i had to cut off, measuring wouldn't have helped me bro. Good thing i made a rig that made it easy to mate the transmission easier after the second time💪
Good job Chris! Glad you took some time over the Holidays to be with your family.
Nice job man I work on cars all day and came home and watched this while drinking a few beers.
Right on!
Watching you do all this to your '03 Cobra, makes me want to do a lot of the same stuff to my '03 GT. My first Mustang and can't wait for mine to be that clean.
Of all the car guy channels i watch yours is the one i look most forward to. Most others have a 20 to 30 minute video of mostly BS and little actual car stuff but your channel is action packed and work being done is of the upmost perfection. Unlike some of the other channels you are still relatable and havent let the channel go to your head by building nothing but lambos and Ferraris. Your building cars the everyday guy can get and build. Maybe not the stable you have but at least one of them a normal guy can buy and build. Bravo to a good channel and a great job.
You can use some acidic aluminum wheel cleaner on some of those aluminum parts to brighten them up more and remove the oxidation.
Just bought a 03 cobra and Im so glad I found ur channel man. I love all the prep work and cleaning and making sure everthing is done right. Defininely an inspriation and I wanna do engine work just like you. Ive learned so much and any cobra owner really needs this Info and its really harder to get nowadays.
Keep up the videos we love em. Just like the engine work your videos are put together super well too.
Glad you like them and congrats on the purchase!
WOW, amazed at the work you've done on the two cobras!!! I would keep this one for you, my 2 cents.
Ah man! A good way to start the weekend with a Chris Sullivan youtube video!!!!
Long video are the best I learn a lot more to be honest... That came out a beauty love that color 💯💯💯
A LOT of work. Congrats on the progress. Surprised you didn’t give the K member a sipe while it was on the ground.
I ENJOY AND LEARN SOO MUCH WITH YOUR VIDEOS! GREETINGS FROM SONORA, MEXICO.
Great job! Somebody really dogged this Cobra. Can't wait to hear the new engine.
Dude! That was a monster episode 😮 great job on the editing and narration. Welcome to 2024 🎉
I know you didn’t plan on this when you bought the car but it sure made for some great content! Cant wait to hear it run!
Your work ethic is unmatched I love that you don’t cut corners on anything every part is inspected clean and refurbished or replaced so that after you put it back together it looks magnificent inside and out to p to bottom impressive thank you for interesting builds
I just picked up a BBF 460 for cheap and this video has me motivated to start tear down 😁
Side note just realized that the hyper & sonic blue, blk & gray garage floor matches the cars only us cool bunch notice & or color coordinates with the cars. I really enjoy the vids bro been thinking about doing a gen3 Camaro z28 vert
So happy I stumbled across this channel. Every minute is entertaining.
Thank you!
Keep making em long. I'm watching on the clock anyways. Really enjoy following the journey of this car. Really done up right and proper
Killer work man!!! I might have upset the wife and casted it to my TV but deff been waiting on this one! LFG!!
Been checking every day for this video excited to see this build progress. Would love to see a sleeper build for the next one maybe a caprice ppv or a Chevy ss possibly doing a cam etc
LMAO loved the license-free/similar AC/DC -For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) placement 😂 Well done as always. When the weather gets nicer, pull the cars out and do a garage tour! Im buying a new house later this year and need to see where the bar is set 😂 Happy New Year!
Awesome video of all your work, etc.
it has inspired me to finish my flight simulator that’s been sitting for a year or so. I don’t think I’m gonna make a video on it but I’m gonna try to do as good as job as you’re doing.
Appreciate you very much thank you so much for everything. Love your videos. Just bought repair manuals for my mach 1. I’m gonna sit up with a cup of coffee or a beer in the evening and start going through them and seeing what adventures lie ahead for me
Again appreciate what you’ve done for this channel and the SN 95 community so much!!!!!
