I'm so glad people who come here get to see some of our country outside of London. London is cool but there is a lot you don't see there. Cornwall is a beautiful place, and there are many absolutely stunning and breathtaking little gems tucked away all over the country. Many Britons don't even know how beauuuutiful their own country is.
That was an amazing vlog! It looked like you guys were having so much fun! I really want to visit England and especially Cornwall now that I have become obsessed with the show Poldark. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
YAY! I'm so so so so so so happy you got a chance to post this! It looks like you're having an INCREDIBLE time! I'm super jealous, its all so beautiful!
Cam Longmuir Not fantasy - his name wasn't King Arthur tho, can't remember his real name. There is also evidence from the 1600s at Tintagel castle. Not sure of he went on any quests tho.
Silvi Johnson You need to get some research done. This is not history. Plenty of Historians here in Kernow if you are interested. Some are on Facebook, join some groups ;)
Sorry I'm posting this comment so late but Arthr was about a thousand years before this Norma castle was built and Arthr was Welsh and has no connection to cornwall at all as recent discoveries have shown there were two Arthrs about a few hundred years apart and both Welsh or Celtic or Brythonic and Mythin was definitely Welsh born and bread even got a town named after him where he was born ...there was a strong movement in early Norman times to have Heros so they pinched them from ancient texts which happen to be about Merlin & Arthur and they mixed them up even though they didn't know each other and lived about a 100 or so years apart ,
I'm at university in Cornwall! I love it so much! It's really beautiful! I live just outside London so I'm nowhere near as far away from home as you are but its is an 8hr journey! I hope you love England and have the best time!
My life is with cornwall do I thank you for sharing this. And ive Been every year of my life for summer since I was in my mothers tummy.. Hope you had a lovely time
I lived in England for four years . my family used to holiday in Cornwall and stay at a bed and breakfast. we would deep sea fish. I loved St. Michael's Mount. we rode the boat over and actually walked the brick path back. it is still as beautiful as I remember.
Next time you go hiking around wet, slippery, cliffs and caves get some appropriate shoes! Watching this vid made me a tad nervous. Glad you're all safe and sound and glad you enjoyed your trip. 🙂
In Cornwall we eat our cream teas with jam first then cream, the way you eating is the Devon way, cream then jam but as you are an "emmet" you will be forgiven' I have just come back from staying in my cousins flat in St Ives, beautiful place isn't it.
I love you so much zoe you made me laugh! Now sitting in my college library far far away (Canada) i really wanna go to england! would you do a room tour?
I'm sorry for this, but someone has to say it! You are mental...you are hyper, and you are just so full of energy, that I love you to pieces, and your friends are very fortunate to be around you! Please don't ever change...your future is always going to be bright, and full of fun....x
I love this vlog. It reminds me of my Cornwall trip. I was there in September, too! And I just loved it there and everything was so beautiful. I was also in Tintagel Castle, Newquay and St. Ives
OMFGoodness My school program went to that same outdoor theater and saw "Taming of the Shrew" back when I studied abroad at FSU. It was so cold that night and I legit remember how I mentally bounced between trying to think warm thoughts and saying how beautiful the view is from the seats. Tingle Castle was beautiful too and me and my flatmates got lost in Stourhead Gardens it's soon beautiful! Bahaha! I'm starting to think that it's a requisite act for all Austen fans to do the Elizabeth and Darcy speech on Temple of Apollo steps in Stourhead Gardens because my friend did the exact same thing. As for people still living in the house, it was sort of creepy that the lady only lived in that one small part of that massive house. I would be uber scared if that was me. I miss London so much! I hope you have an amazing time there!
+Bookish Bloggings She's just been to Cornwall, how could you possibly try to depress the girl with the thought of a visit to Hull?- she wants happy and joyful memories to take back
Hi, Zoe. Have you ever considered moving to England? I'm new to your channel and I'm not sure how old you are nor what your career/school plans are, but I think you'd love living in England, particularly in the countryside. Especially since you're a literature aficionado and probably a writer.
Such charmingly infectious enthusiasm................especially from the beautiful Zoe (which - appropriately - means 'Life' in Greek, of course). Why did I never meet American tourists like THAT when I was younger ? Ah well..................................... next life (I'm drawing up a list right now),
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Kernow, Just to let you know that Cornwall is'nt part of England, and never has ever been officially incorporated into England via war or treaty.... for more information www.duchyofcornwall.eu
Sorry to tell you mate ,but King Athelstan made it part of England in the 900s,plus half the population living there now were born in London or Birmingham.
I don't know if your from Cornwall or anything but we don't (or at least I know nobody) who considers themselves Welsh. Also the last time people thought of it as another country was hundreds of years ago 😂😂
+Gender Fluid Teapot I'm from Cornwall and everyone I know and myself included call ourselves English. Just because your born in Cornwall it doesn't mean you automatically have Cornish blood. Also, when England was in the euros there was England flags everywhere. Only a minority are nationalists, not everyone.
Well you gotta sympathise with me when I say that you don't put so much emphasis on the N. Sounds a bit strange how she says it :/ I dunno, this is coming from a guy who everyone around him says Cormall lol
Yeah the emphasis on the N is strange, but with her not being from this country it's normal. It's interesting that you say cormwall, I've never heard anyone call it that. Learn something new every day ;)
If you are a fan of Pride and Prejudice, I'd recommend the six part BBC production with Colin Firth. It is superior in almost every respect to the film.
England - The Sceptred Isle. An ancient realm - the home of King Arthur, Merlin, Jack the Ripper, Robin Hood and Boudicca. A land where vampires stalk the night under a blood moon and the ghost of Blackbeard sails upon the haunted sea. The land of Avalon, Stonehenge and the birthplace of Wicca. A kingdom where fairies dance as the sun collapses into the horizon and where the ghostly spirit of Anne Boleyn looks down upon her people. A country where Excalibur pierces the cold, grey stone. This England.
the Cornish have all ways called any one no Cornish Emetts or non Cornish people. and there are to many Emmys here now with 2 homes it's not right to the Cornish need to stand up pards
Zoe you'd be a fantastic tv host haha!

Huh? Utter fantasy, sorry to have to inform you!
Cam Longmuir Not fantasy - his name wasn't King Arthur tho, can't remember his real name. There is also evidence from the 1600s at Tintagel castle. Not sure of he went on any quests tho.
Also thought to be Camelot, the birth place of King Aurther

Now that you were in Cornwall you should read The Sell Seakers by Rosamunde Pilcher. It is a book that describes Cornwall.
I'm sorry for this, but someone has to say it!
You are mental...you are hyper, and you are just so full of energy, that I love you to pieces, and your friends are very fortunate to be around you!
Please don't ever change...your future is always going to be bright, and full of fun....x

Hi, Zoe. Have you ever considered moving to England? I'm new to your channel and I'm not sure how old you are nor what your career/school plans are, but I think you'd love living in England, particularly in the countryside. Especially since you're a literature aficionado and probably a writer.

i'm happy to know you had american friends to run around with zoe - I was the only american at my school :(
The way you pronounce 'Tintagel' makes it sound like a beauty product. :)
Cornwall is a part of England that is steeped in myth and magick (as opposed to magic).
Part of England?,,, you might offend a few folk with such a comment, sorry to have to say!
A few yes. The vast majority will agree. I'm Cornish and English.
It will only offend a few backward idiots. I'm proud to be Cornish AND English.
Ha dha hanow a lever pubtra :-)
Under the Lieutenancies Act 1997 Cornwall is a ceremonial county of England.
Fantastico!! 😄
Where are all the boyfrands?
Some Cornish people don't consider Cornwall as England. Cornish people are Celts like Welsh, Scots & Irish.
I don't know if your from Cornwall or anything but we don't (or at least I know nobody) who considers themselves Welsh. Also the last time people thought of it as another country was hundreds of years ago 😂😂
+Gooners Rule (Goonersrule) - they do identify as English, except with a celtic twist, an they all speak English an have British passports etc.
+Gooners Rule (Goonersrule) The English are Celts too.
We are Germanic speaking Celts.
+Gender Fluid Teapot I'm from Cornwall and everyone I know and myself included call ourselves English. Just because your born in Cornwall it doesn't mean you automatically have Cornish blood. Kameron Lovell no it's pronounced Corn-wall
Just the people from Somerset call it Corm-all Everyone else says Cornwall ;)
Well you gotta sympathise with me when I say that you don't put so much emphasis on the N. Sounds a bit strange how she says it :/ I dunno, this is coming from a guy who everyone around him says Cormall lol
