Ironically enough, many anime studios nowadays outsource most of their work to the Philippines and Korea (the Japanese only have to do the key frames and complex scenes). So The Nutshack IS an anime.

This is why I like Pan's videos. Anyone else would just meme it up and call it terrible without making any observations.
Pan looks deeper than anyone else does and gives them the same treatment that he would give any other show and is able to share interesting info that no one else would bother to learn.
No matter how bad a show is, he is willing to give it the full time of day because he respects that animation is a time consuming medium and can still an insane amount of effort.

ToucanLDM the worst part of it was that they had to put a *PG-15* rating before they showed the Season 1 or 2 ep that was put up at the late hours of the night. no joke. I saw the ep where Lisa found that their city founder was a bad guy when I was in thr States before I went home and found CN PH show the early stuff for a while before taking it off their programming a year later (we finally had a FOX channel air the later seasons)

What's interesting is that they legitimately had fun doing all of this and they tried redubbing the ops for the french audience some were hit or miss i admit . After watching this I kind of respect the creators of the show. They had vision and ambition, but lacked the technical skill or taste to make a funny adult animated show. Take the artist he's obviously talented but despite that the show still sucked.
I respect something like the Nutshack a hell of a lot a more than the shiny slop coming out on Disney+. Better to aim high a fall flat on your face than making bland slop that doesn't really please anyone.
