Just finished watching the entire series. "The 1/8 Project" was definitely my favorite. The episode with the entomologist turning into a giant was another I really liked. And how eerie was that title "Challenge from the Year 2020"!!! When I saw that title, I was thinking how prophetic these guys were!
It was great seeing many Toho familiar faces like Akira Kubo, Yoshio Tsuchiaya, Jun Tazaki, Akihkio Hirta and Horishi Koizumi, and almost everyone who would appear in the next series "Ultraman" (only the actor who played Arashi, I did not see).
8:12 Thank you for using one of my re-edited Zone Fighter vids during your tribute to Shozo Uehara! That made the tribute more appealing for me, as though I, too, participated in this video 👏😊.
Rest in ever loving peace, Mr. Shozo Uehara.
Remembering Eiji Tsuburaya on his birthday! Ultra Q still remains my very favorite series from Tsuburaya due to its eerie tone and fantastic art style...and the monsters, naturally (Peguila really should have gotten far more attention in later series). Great video and keep Ultra Q alive, kaiju kids!
11:17 Tiga came back in 96'? And this man who worked in Hokuto Shin Ken had a hand in that? Respect
An excellent introduction to Ultra Q , the actors, and kaiju, and how it inspired Ultraman, which came along in July 1966. In some respects, UQ was similar to the Twilight Zone in America, and had various cautionary and moral--of-the--story themes.
😸😸😸🚀🚀🚀🐉🐉🐉
13:53 OMG ITS MANDA!
Atomic Dragon 1954 no it's the Kai dragon (in lore you can call it manda if you want)
I know that I just said Manda for joking purposes
This shows everyone has their own preferences of what their top 15 are. "Challenge from the Year 2020" opening special effects were wonderful, I loved it.
And there goes to Ultraman Z episode
Kanegon ate your revenue.
Goldorak .... UFO Robot Grendizer ?! I didn`t know that ! lol
Wich version is better, the original or the colored version?
I thought Ultra Q was the Japanese name of the original Ultraman show! Thanks for informing me.
"For the next 30 minutes"
20:00 minute video
Ultraman Ultraman here he comes from the sky
Surprisingly enough a lot of my top 10-15ish episodes are not even on this list. aside from Episodes 1, 5, 13, 17, and 19 which I did like.
and I was hoping you could review other Ultra series, since they're not really that common and I like to hear other people's thoughts about them.
I definitely want to review more Ultra series along the way! I just need to get my hands on those Mill Creek blu-rays
@@TitanGoji That's cool. I already got Ultraman, Ultraseven, as well as Return of Ultraman. And I also pre-ordered Ultraman Ace.
And Beleive it or not, I actually liked each entry more and more, that I'll hopefully get to tell you once you do start reviewing them.
Though I'm not sure if I like Taro, Leo or 80 as much as them.
me: "hmmmm, maybe i can make custom stop motion remakes of Showa Kaiju movies"
Also me: *watches TitanGoji videos*
"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW....SHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT"
NICE REVIEW! Will we be seeing other extensive reviews of the various Ultra shows especially with them officially available on American blu-ray now?
As for the late great Shozo Uehara: I had no idea he worked on four of my favorites, Daitetsujin 17, Fist of the North Star, Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy, and Juspion. Gravatron speed to you, Mister Uehara!
It's definitely a possibility! Figured I'd experiment a little with this one, and so far it seems people are really digging it. Originally, I was going to do the original Ultraman as a Patreon goal, but I think I'll change that.
This is a good video my few issue with the video is you want to make the video long witch is fine but you have a list of other shows you like with no narration i feel you could have done that few another video as i was hear for Ultra Q. If you had more information on the show that would have justified the length of the video Like more information on the writers or what ever. This is a good video and i was just giving feedback no harm meant 't hope that's OK to give feed back
Any feedback is always appreciated! Thank you!
What’s the name of the song you use for the top 15 ultra Q episodes?
You should review the little known toku show called specterman.
One minor mistake you made during the tribute montage: MegaBeast Investigator Juspion aired in 1985, not 1986. Other than that, great vid! :)
Thanks! I was looking at IMDb for reference, and I realized it may have not been 100% reliable.
@@TitanGoji No problem. Love your vids!
@@Eric032289 Thanks!
Juspion? Hehe, this show is BIG here in Brazil.
