thanks to all your post it has really helped me understand solar more thanks alot
Glad you enjoyed the video
Again, a great video. Very educational and exciting delivery
Thanks for your kind words Buddy
Absolutely clear master. Great lessons.
Thanks for watching
❤❤you are the best teacher
Am still a learner lol thanks
I was going to comment on the comparable video but thank you for this video. Now people can get to understand the benefit of pwm that is not completely useless. God bless you bro
Thank you
MIV pwm or SNRE pwm does Alot better like mppt. They manage voltage very well. Not wasting voltages or current like the usual pwm. With 100V MPV, you can get almost 80-90v
In as much as I admire your enthusiasm but PWM and MPPT are an entirely two different technologies. They are built to operate differently
Good one, but the MPPT still does a lot better regardless of the system size
Just a bit better lol. Thanks for your comments Buddy!
PWM will also require you to use bigger wire gauge size when you have many panels in parallel.
That is correct my friend
I'm currently using a 180watt solar panel for my 12volts setup with a pwm controller
How is the system doing ?
Thanks very much for this particular video...
Got one question....
Why is my 50a pwm charge controller overheating over just 4 pcs 80w solar panel
Which is better and more durable between Transformerlees inverter and Transformer inverter? Which inverter will you advise?
I watched both your videos
This one and pwm & mppt difference
But i use both controller in one solar system DC12 volt system
As you know there is no battery deep discharge cut off option in mppt so i use pwm to safe my battery for being deep discharge. 5:21
Low battery function cut off should be your leasst worry in a charge controller, that's what your inverter does.
I have 48 pwm solar charger control with 6solar panel of 380watt.
3 connect in series at South and 3 connect in series at West and I parallel the two together
Extremely wrong configuration
But it working perfectly
Can you tell me how it wrong configuration
@@TIMMYBABA what is your System Voltage ?
@@smilinsunsmilinsun8056 my system voltage is 48v
Good video sir.
Pls sir what can cause a charge controller not to display a battery on it screen when charging
Great work great video explanation which one is the best series or parallel panling connection
They are both good it's your system that will determine which one is best for it
Thank you for this video as usual. But shouldn't the excess voltage (above the required value) be available for use while the battery is charging? Say, someone has two 300W panels connected in parallel to the PWM for a 12V 230AH tall tubular flooded lead acid battery. I know it's an overkill, but shouldn't it mean that the excess voltage be available for use while the battery is charging during the day? In any case, what will you advise such a user so that he can benefit from his setup? Thank you.
First the Solar panels are not over kill , secondly Solar provides energy real-time. If you are using a PM M any voltage above the nominal voltage is lost on the charge system, but an MPPT would have converted it to current and increase the wattage.
A good video bro
Thanks Buddy!
Can i use pwm for a 12volts 2batteries with 900total watt panel?
100 amp PMW will work and there are different brands to choose from which are cheaper than an MPPT. This is the logic I follow with my system: I have two 100 watt panels that face South and are connected to one 20 amp PWM. Another 100 watt panel on the shed that faces South-South-West and connected to another 20 amp PMW. Both PMWs feed into three 55ah batteries for a grand total of 165 ah. I also have a very good 2000 watt inverter which has a ground wire. Hope this helps.
good vid and info, now, I got a 170w , 36v roof top panel , got given it for free, I use a cheap pwm 30amp controllor, the blue one :), on a 12v batt set up, is that ok, I am in the UK, the sun comes and goes,
Hi please i own a pwm setup buh am confused about what the recommended pv off settings of a 12v tubular battery is
What do you mean by PV off setting
@@smilinsunsmilinsun8056 oh please i meant the maximum voltage the pwm solar controller stops charging the battery so i was not sure of what voltage to set it to in the range of 13.8 to 14.4v. please what specific voltage do you suggest
Pls can you advise on the good affordable mppt charge conteoller to buy?
Hw do I know that my system is changing with the pwm charge controller
You will see the Solar symbol on it moving, your battery voltage will be going up
I would like to take a review of a felicity charge controller 80A mppt if it can really work on a 36v system of batteries plz I'm confused before I buy bcZ I have a 36v Inverter and three batteries of AGM WAS USING It as a back up just two weeks now I bought panels wanna go off grid
Thankyou so much .do you have written manuals pdf .
In the works
Thanks for the video, please I need your advice to know if a 290w solar panel can match with a 12v250Ah battery, if yes how many Amps for a Pwm controller ?
It's okay
Product of pmw u will recommend
A good video. Thank you.
It appears that when you mention 100W panel for use with the PWM and a 12V battery, it is as though one solar panel will be enough for any 12V battery with a PWM. You left out mentioning anything about the amp of the panels relative to the battery. Isn't it important?
I would think that two 100W panels connected in parallel should suffice, or even three. Am I right?
Sorry you misunderstood that, I never said only one 100 watt Solar panel, 100 watt then parralled to contain more panels. Thanks for the observation
@@smilinsunsmilinsun8056 thank you.
I am considering setting up a solar system for home use. Currently, I have a power box from MTN but will like to attempt setting up a unit that will provide more. However, MPPT is expensive, and I am realising also how very expensive batteries are. I do feel discouraged to be honest, but do it I must. 😁
I am using 24v 250watt
Good morning sir .. I'm currently using a 180 watt 12v solar panel, on one battery 220wat 12v and a 2.5kva inverter also 12v but I'm having changing problems.. inhabe four panels currently! How should i do please 🙏
The Panels that you have can charge your battery, however if you are also consuming the energy Realtime, that is where the problem lies. You might need to get more Panels.
I also thought that more solar panels helps you to get extra usage even when charging the battery
That's correct
thanks but i will save my self the stress and use mppt charge controller
Lol pls support the ministry of the PWM producers
I have two 12 volt batteries and a solar panel of 71 watt. The problem is, it not charging. What can I do to make it work. I connected it using a Reggie ce20 Pwm charge controller
what is the battery capacity
Learned..... Kudos
Thank you Sir
Will 2 180watts controlled by pwm work for 150mah battery?
Yes
Pls what is the cause of battery drain. My Felicity battery is less than 6months. It can't even power 1laptop. For 3mins
What you call battery drain might not necessarily be a battery drain. just a weak battery that was abused in a very short period.
My system is a 12v system. It's been fyn until recently. It just stops holding charge but shows full. Could it be that the charge controller is ineffective
@@greatwatch How do you check to know if your battery is full
I’m on 12V system, with 220 watts solar panel, 😅😅😅 waste of panel money 😢😢
Pls I really need your help to configure my mppt felicity 100 amp. I feel my battery is on high charging I really don’t know what to do pls help me🙏
Increase your battery bank capacity
I have a total of 750w solar panels
Okay cool
@smilinsunsmilinsun8056 Does that mean am wasting voltage
Stop begging people to suscribe and smash the like button!!!!
useless
Hi Brother
Can I email you on what I've got ?
Sure
