You made the right choice, flow control upgrade to those taps would be a waste of money (I had one Intertap flow control previously), just tinker with the beer line and it's perfect. You've just made me realise, I've had my Nukataps for well over a year now, and haven't taken them apart like that to clean since they were first installed. Argh, time flies, add that to the list of jobs.
I'm actually looking at building a keezer as we speak and funny enough my choice seems to be between these 2 taps! Where I stay for a full nuka ss assembly is about 3 times the price of the alternative meaning my 4 Nuka SS would cost more than the rest of the build! Sadly this may mean that despite the pros I may have to take the same route you did! Great video thanks🎉
Big fan of the Nukataps I have them on my kegorator, I like the way you can feel them snap shut to close. Big fan of kegland in general really. Just got one of their duotight flow control disconnects so you no longer need any length of line to pour from the keg, effectively enabling me to take a keg to anyone's house and not only pour foam.
Been using the same SS Nukataps for 2.5 years now, and whenever I take them apart the insides are perfectly clean. Flow control isn't really needed, I used 1-2m of 3/16" beer line for the first 18 months (adjust based upon beer carbonation) and then bought some flow control disconnects.
Thats good to know! It makes sense that it should be much lower maintenance on the cleaning front, totally agree on the flow control wont be going back to those, cheers

I have both types of taps having upgraded a while ago. Interesting to see your take on them. I hadn’t considered the forward sealing difference 👍🏻👍🏻

Definitely feels like quality equipment, might into those flow control discos cheers 🍻
Good comparison video. My cheep Chinese one has been ok but needs a new seal. Anyone know where to get parts?
I never managed to find anywhere selling spares for them which was one of the reasons I upgraded

Forward seal is da shit! 😀
