Aside from all the benefits of the NukaTap, especially for the price, it's the fact that the company designed it to use all the previous addon spouts really impresses me. They could have easily made the connections unique so people who upgrade from their old system have to also buy the new spouts. It's great to see a company who doesn't try to screw the customer over.
Great video! Just ordered my first kegerator (Komos v2 quad tap) and it arrives tomorrow. My local brew store recommended the nukatap so I went with that.
the Nuka's are brilliant. have a 3 tap homebrew setup running them and they look/perform really well. (From Aus so they've been available here for a while)
You need a pretty argument to replace a stainless part in a brewery to a plastic one. And I have never had or heard of a problem with an intertap, so I only hear a sales speach:) But of cause it's cheeper to produce, so if you can get people to tkink it's better, it's a win win. Which brewer dosn't love stainless? :)
I just ordered a intertap flow control faucet. I hope it threads into my old Danby kegorator. Can’t wait to see the foam difference than a standard tap.
@@NotAFresherAnymore it worked absolutely amazing. First pour was perfect. I tried everything by adding longer hose and gave up. Intertap faucets are amazing. I currently have 1 flow control and two regular intertap faucets. I have currently upgraded to a komos kegerator.
@@AdamAmdor I’m gonna be honest my flow control intertap is the best investment I have ever made. I now run a komos kegerator and better line where my flow control faucet is not needed anymore. The flow Control faucet took away all the friction control headache I was dealing with before.
@@michaelfournier3948 That's good to hear, I've been reading complaints about foaming on Reddit so wondering if I should have paid a few more bucks for Nuka. I already had Intertaps but without flow control so wanted to match the aesthetic for the upgrade.

well they could just sell only the inside stuff for old intertaps, but of course it will not fit so you have to get new tap :D

I have Perlick taps. Do you know of any plans to make a similar improvement on these taps or is this only something that Intertap is doing?
This is proprietary to intertap - but I'm sure perlicks will keep making improvements
