Speaking from personal experience playing mid for an entire season before switching to ADC, I can say this is the same case for all lanes. When you fall behind you start "focusing up" and trying to let loose and strong arm the lane back in your favor. Which isn't always a bad thing but it's very easy to lose your awareness of other things like vision, where the enemy JG is based on where he last pathed, etc. That's when you get screwed and make your lane even more doomed rather than being controlled and taking smart trades rather than careless ones.

I like neace but this one was a sad vid. The guy honestly doesnt look boosted whatsoever, in fact he was just scared and played safe throughout the game because he was behind. He literally did well in lane but the only reason he died in lane was because of neaces call to go aggro which lead to him dying. Yes he was really safe late game but like everyone on the enemy team esp kha zix can just erase his existence b4 his team can even ping omw. He did great in this vid!
Yeah usually I like neace and his honest coaching but this one seemed a bit harsh considering the game as a whole. Yeah sure a graves can change a game but so can a kha when he erases you from existence instantly

I've been watching his latest content and he's overall pretty nice, even when he's "mean" it feels like tough-love first and foremost. But I think he tries to play it up like Gordon Ramsey or something for content, but deep down the guy is a softie so it comes off as cringey lol.

dude i love that neace audio settings makes it so that everytime we hear the gameplay of the guys which get coached it is extremely hard compressed. It is somehow pretty satisfying to hear those sounds of league so drawn out and squashed.

@@antonioaugustinovic5042 it's silly to think that a kha six will use the jump to go over a wall that is really close to the "combat site" knowing that the jump is used as gap closer / escape tool. The plant? 100% valid. Jumping thr the wall to land in the bush? too dumb, I would jump from baron and get in from behind? yes.
Good coaching and a fun watch. The title seems a bit click baity, though. You can tell based off of movement and camera control alone that this player is around platinum level

The play was kinda useless, nashor and drake timers were at 1:30, enemy team would be up by then and ready to challenge (and most likely win a 5v5). Wouldn't change anything. Sure he would be able to deep ward or smth. Idk

I have a friend who was Diamond 2 and she's back into the game after a 2 year hiatus and there's so much wrong about her game right now, but she still can absolutely climb to Plat from the fresh account she has. Sometimes you're super rusty in some aspects, but those diamond+ mentalities still shine through and carry you.

I have a master's friend who is super toxic on smurfs flames the shit out of everyone plays random garbage and just generally doesn't give a single fuck about the games he's in, dude still hits mid-high plat on that acct.
Plat is not that impressive, especially after they changed ranked distributions it used to be like top 4% now it's top 10% it's literally just what gold used to be lol.

@@skibidi_rizzler_montana Yone needs almost 5k gold before he even sort of comes on-line and really doesn't start to go wild until 8.5k when he should have Boots, Shieldbow, and IE. Shieldbow and Lethal Tempo nerfs really brought him down to a reasonable power level.

Never trust skill coming from over powered champions, he played insanely good with akali? yea, you dont have to manage mana, mobility, you can be invisible with just a touch... insane damage.
It's like calling "skilled" because he did insanely good with yi. Even when akali requires more skill than yi, all you need is practice. 10 games with akali should get you used to her spells, the rest is just creativity and your personality as a player.
@@guaracho1999Unpopular opinion. Climbing high with Garen/Annie/Yi is very impressive. Because they don't have mechanics, you need brain power to outsmart enemies.
As for the skill, the guy can click insanely good, but he lacks discipline and fundamental, that's why he isn't higher.

It says that he took a long hiatus yet is already plat, that kinda implies that he maybe got boosted (esp when the gameplay was very mediocre even for a plat). Even silver players don't play this scared, there's no way Neace thinks he deserves diamond

I don’t play top lane, but I’m usually in plat 1/2 and I had a hard time understanding what Neace was expecting him to just understand 0.0
IMO Neace was too harsh and wanted this giy to be absolute god lol. He basically chewed his head off for that last play where he wanted him to flank and basically 1v3 the fed khazix and the other 2 there at the time(idk but i assume it was the mundo and the supp) and he got scared even with late game graves items. He mightve been too scared then but he has a fkn good reason esp since that kha is fed asf and will oneshot him because of iso passive
the funniest part is there is a French player, ex-pro Gaethan who is in korea and got master in 4 days (toplane only) with a normal mmr account, starting placement from bronze 2 (he jumped many division then).

He means we used to put some of our other coaches in this channel (Rayskat, Oorix, Phylaris.) But There is very little interest in watching them no matter how good a thumbnail, title or edits are made.

what people fail to understand is if you have a decent sample size in solo queue, let's say 100 games, and you have. 51% wr or higher. 99% chances are if you keep playing you will eventually hit challenger

If he was to spend 800g on early grievous wounds item instead the vampiric scepter would have saved him on those duels....yes you delay your build but is a must have reducing 40% of Mundo's all in ability.
The fact here is yeah he lost the lane... but he successfully get his 3rd items by farming as a savage even if he only get 2 kill. He was fed! And he doesn't know that and continues to play under his potential

Guy is pretty good mechanically for plat, clearly needs to polish his lane knowledge and macro, but the fundamentals are there: movement, dodging, camera positioning, looking for thing in minimap, he's solid imo

Veigar is an idiot for ulting Graves at 1/3rd hp? He has a Mundo that can 1v5, his team comp is stronger overall and his ult is not even of significance considering Graves's team is almost entirely made up of squishy picks. His cooldown is not huge either so he can waste it without a problem.

It is, since the sound is coming from theo ther side, while gameplay is delayed by a second. If you ever watched someone sharescreen on discord you will notice abit delay (more noticable with low internet).

Something I've noticed, and I'm not trying to belittle people taking the initiative to get better at the game.
But so many people don't value the cannon in your series. It's literally 4 melee minions in gold lol...
Like, good on ya for getting the other 5 minions, but you should definitely prio your cannon over casters.
Those 3 casters is 30g, your cannon is nearly 3x more gold than that.. It's a little thing but it's just weird.
They like value the NUMBER of their CS over the VALUE of their CS.. Like you're so far ahead if you miss only casters.
If you prio those tanky minions, you will be fine, even if you have 100 CS at 25 minutes, which seems normal here.

- misses a huge ton of farm in the early game
- really, really bad map awareness (just the fact that he trusted with his eyes closed that Neace would be calling out stuff from the minimap is already a huge red flag for me)
- awkward trades, sometimes opening with E???
- weird movement, walks in circles ALL THE TIME
- there is literally a moment that he kites Mundo around and literally draws a circle with his kiting, I've never seen this not even in silver, I'm not exaggerating at all

bork is completely ineffective vs high armor targets and it doesn't fit graves' build at all

@@formdoggie5 no it's a well known fact that bork is a strong item vs high hp low armor targets and is countered by high armor targets since it is not an armor pen item and its passive damage is mitigated by armor, whereas liandry is specifically the only option to go against tanks since there is no magic pen mythic+mr stacking is less valuable than armor stacking in the game so it has value due to it being magic damage against high hp targets who will generally have much more armor than mr, as for bork it loses value due to it being %current hp damage as well compared to liandry's consistent %bonus hp damage, in any case the only good anti tank item to go on graves against tanks is LDR with probably crit and sustain to make the ldr hit harder
@@rzl34 ...so an item that can proc its % damage more often with attack speed an auto cancelling with skills is less effective than the item that cant.

I mean I can’t seem to win when I was plat, hardstuck plat for like 2-3 seasons. I always get an inting jungle, griefing me just like that, and it frustrates me a lot. Now I’m D4 cuz I had a decent jungle. I really don’t need a god tier team, just don’t want them to int so I can solo carry easily. Solo carrying is already a weight on my shoulders, and my team wants to put more… like why

i dont know i dont like neace very much, he barely coaches anything man. he just puts his input it and confuses people on their runs. how is any of this actual coaching? i can see how spatial awareness helps. but these videos seem super counter productive. hope they get more out of their money than just this.
