You could hear in her voice, her pride, her deep love for her community. I got chills and choked up watching this video. I already wanted this shoe when I first saw it, but after seeing this video, I was honored when I bought them the day they released.
This is one of the best put together sneaker collabs I’ve seen in a good while. To hear her tell a small part of her people’s huge story and execute it on a sneaker was incredible.
At least she’s doing something for the tribe. All proceeds for her launch are going back into the community and she takes time to help indigenous skaters get into Woodword in California. That’s a lot more than what these haters have probably done for the youth or their own communities. She broke into an industry that has extensive reach and is able to tell our people’s teachings and stories with her designs. WTH have any of these jawns done with their time for the rest of us except think they’re too good for this?
The story alone had me sold the meaning behind the making of these shoes called to my spirit. Thankyou! I had to get mine from the goat because I didn’t hit but they were a must have.
Great story! I'm so glad to have been able to buy a pair of the brown/turquoise SB's. And to see the celebration at Nakai Hall in Window Rock. Thank you! Keep on inspiring us Dine'
I love these I’m constantly out doors hiking at trails around water I won’t be skating these but these will be my go to hiking shoe to get out in nature

Her independent sweater had such a unique and inspiring color way. It was a pullover style but I prefer the pullover to the zip up hoodie. I hope you get the XL you are bidding on.
At 4:30 does it seem like she was going to say something important? And then cuts out to next video ? Or just me. I've watched this like 100 times since the drop lol.
@@moosenuckl I was making light of the fact Nike is latching on to Native American culture while selling their shoes at insane prices and limiting the production on them so they sell out immediately.

No luck with local skate shop? I got mine through local skate shop and it was easy to get of both pair. Never ever do Nike SNKR as you are dealing with bots etc. Or let alone get checked by Nike and they think you are a bot and can't get anything in the end. Don't relied on NIke SNKR, something like this is easily obtain at your local skate shop.
I'm one of the biggest SB heads out there and I gotta say with no disrespect both the dunk and the blazer are hideous. The dunk doesn't even have padding around the collar which is one of my favorite parts on a SB dunk high. And then the blazer which given is better looking looks horrible with that cover over the laces. These are both bricks and nobody is gonna wear them. I'm not happy to write this but I couldn't hold it in. Love the dunk concept but just not good looking at all. 😢
Okay, guy whose opinion is about as far away from my experience in the blazer. These absolutely are a game changer for me.. happy that you won't be buying them because more for the rest of us who truly appreciate these shoes for their beauty and functional use.
😂😂😂 nah. But I am interested in the glass beads. In lieu of the shoes, you will receive a free haircut 😁 and I will cut you a deal by charging four beads..
If someone was invading your country and killing women and children, would you not do the same? You might need to educate yourself on what your ancestors did to their people first, you are the invader.
I can't comprehend how you get in bed with Nike and represent indigenous culture. Literally the antithesis of indigenous values. Well, I guess except for money. Everyone always puts their values away for that these days it seems. 😕
Just because someone like you has an opinion doesn't make it a fact. If you consider them family then where is your guidance and council???? I bought my pair at her homeland event on may 25th, where all the sales from that day went directly her community. I drove out from San Diego and got lost just find out they didn't have my size but the fact that she had indigenous artists who weren't charged a booth fee and had freshly cut food purchased from local business and an amazing indigenous sister showing her artisan fruit carving skills and snacks available for all in attendance... I bought a pair anyway and learned that the very same blazer style I purchased had also been a graduation gift to the local class of 2024 window rock high school students and staff who graduated the day before. I don't care what you think.. I have seen it with my own eyes and cannot wait to purchase one in my size 18. 😢
This is why I love collabs. The story. The history, culture. Tied to the designer. She poured her heart into this project. An amazing piece to own

Great that Nike did this shoe! She is the real deal! She even makes her own skateboards! Congrats! 🎉
And this folks, is exactly how a collab should be done!

She's the coolest, most down to earth person who deserves the best ❤
This is for sure one of the best releases since a while. Great collab, great shoes! And great athlete!!!
Thanks for what you do Di'orr Greenwood!

Nothing but love for my native brothers and sisters 🫶🫡
That’s sick! I just started making my own decks at home so it’s cool to see her process. The shoes look good too. God bless!
This is one of the coolest skate video's ive seen. It's cool to see her integrate the indian culture and art into skateboarding.

Amazing release! 👏 looking forward to getting both pairs 💙
It’s great to learn about what makes these shoes so special, really hope I can get a pair

Great marketing for shoe made with child labor
Do something for the children before you flex your finger muscles then.
Your phone’s battery is powered by child labor and mining in continents like Africa.
I mean, he’s not wrong. Kind of ironic they released this shoe considering their track record exploiting labor.
