    It is worth noting the Manual Elantra N Line will end production by the end of 2021 Calendar Year for 2022MY production. If you want a new 2022 N Line in manual you better act quickly.

      @@MattMaranMotoring The 2022MY have been on lots for 6-8 weeks already. They are available in manual until the end of the calendar year or so as sneakily hidden on page 4 of 2022MY N Line Specs sheet press docs.

      @JustinKelly 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sonydominates That is our best guess who have been around the Hyundai scene for years. Hopefully that means the price point of the manual N will come in right around $30k but I really do think that is wishful thinking.

    We got a 2022 Manual Trans and love it! Amazing to drive and tons of fun. Lots of power with the turbo and getting 36-39MPG on the highway. About 8k mi and the shift feels way smoother. Definitely feels like a sports car all around and the price point was good. Super happy customer! Thank you Hyundai. And thanks for posting this video Matt. Nice job

    I have a GT350 as my fun car. I just recently bought a 22 Elantra N-line DCT as my daily and I love it! Fun little nimble car. Enough passing power on the highway. Can cruise easy at 90mph on the highway and curvy roads.

    Hey Matt, based in part on your 2017 Elantra Sport, You helped me confirm that yes I did need that car which I already thought looked great and ended up buying as a second car in early 2018. I got the Galactic grey DCT and now have a downpipe on it and cone filter that add a big helping of HP and factory lip spoiler. People ask me what kind of a car it is because it looks so good, then I tell them what it cost. I keep it ceramic coated and wont use it in snow. Adding Conti tires really quiets the cabin compared the to original white noise generating tires.

    I owned the 21 Elantra limited, it was a really nice car, but before I purchased the limited I thought about purchasing the n-line as well. I lived with the limited for about a year. I did like the limited but it wasn't the car for me so I traded it in for the n-line manual transmission and I must say I enjoy the n-line much more and I get 45 mpg highway and about 30 on city driving I average about 34 combined I wasn't getting the gas mileage with the limited as I do with the n-line. I must admit, being gas is what it is, I'm easy on the car. Before I own both of these cars I owned a 17 Miata and I feel like I'm having as much fun with the n-line as the Miata. It's been a few years since the Miata so I could be failing. But when making a sharp corner with the N-line I feel it recovers almost as well as the Miata.

    Just letting everyone know considering a 1.6t vehicle, any light breathing mods you can make to the engine make a shocking difference, and the DCT does a great job at keeping the motor in power as a typical stick driving enthusiast. Because my other cars are a stick, I have loads of fun beating other cars off the line with my DCT 2018 Sport. I noticed after doing a downpipe without tune, the car is no longer sluggish in first gear getting into the throttle and response from the engine is much more immediate along with way more HP. DP is the singe best mod you could give this engine along with getting rid of the factory choker of an air box.

    Fast forward... 12/21/22. The Elantra N line (manual) is dead for the U.S. market. The full N branded vehicles are also gone (sans the Elantra which will stick around for another generation) i.e. Veloster, Kona, I30, etc... The Veloster R Spec is, (will be) a rare bird. The Elantra GT N line will also be harder to come by. With the manual gone, the Elantra N line manual is going to be something desirable, especially in Lava Orange... a color they should bring to the Elantra N for the next generation at the very least. -since we didn't get the Fiery Red Pearl/ silver trim version in the U.S. Watch Hyundai go ahead and do an AWD Elantra N line with the 1.6L turbo and a full N variant with 300+HP from the 2.5L inline four turbo.

      But on the other hand, the si barely cost more and it has one. A mechanical lsd is like $1k. So.. they could at least just offer it on the manual.

    I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to me this thing is just weird looking. The nose looks like a modernized, angular Ghibli, and it ain’t pretty. I feel like this era of cars is pretty weak in the looks department. Particularly the cars from Asia seem to be looking too complex with the opposite of a “less is more” design philosophy.
