I'd still prefer Japanese Cars. I've been driving a 2018 HiAce Commuter Van at wala akong masabi. More than 1 year na siya pero wala talaga akong problema sa Van. In terms of parts and mainenance, nakapadali hanapin.

Based on my personal experience with my Ford Territory...No.1 in Fuel comsumption...big sucker and in maintenance issues...from door locks, wiper, rubber bushings, starter, steering column starter key, engine fine tuning....need more improvements

A lot of ford vehicles are assembled in Mexico because of cheap labor.Vehicles that are not rated safe by NHTSA can't enter US or Canada. Ex: the SMART car made by Mercedes Benz is a 2 seater compact ( very small) car can't enter US because it was deemed too unsafe by the NTHSA.Another one Morgan sport car from Britain can't enter US or Canada because at that time it doesn't have an airbag that's why it can't enter both countries.

Ford Transit is not comparable to HiAce and Starex, it is comparable to Hyundai H350....but its not practical since its an american vehicle....parts, maintenance, get ready to prepare a lot of headache tablets and a big hole pocket
To be honest, I don't really like the VDO Tachometer, replace it with a 8 inch touchscreen informal system. No one does know how to use it or will use the Tachometer. But a good car, spare parts lang and good maintenance.
