I also decided to go back to a community college. Now year later, I just got into Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD with great scholarships and aid offers. It was a scary decision but was honestly the best choice for me, at a cc I was able to really relax, save some money, and come down to earth. I felt like I was able to grow as a student and a person. Now that I'm ready to transfer, I don't feel like a kid anymore with a fantasy vision of college, but rather an actual real adult, making the best decision for me personally and financially. You got this!
