hi katie!! thank you so much for validating that it is so okay and normal to be sad about moving to college. i'm a freshman too and moved in a just a few weeks ago, and i feel as if everyone is just so excited and happy to be here, which i am but it's change is so scary, especially not being close to home, so thank you for being real and making me feel that i'm not alone.
oh my word yes!! I’m just an hour away from home but it’s been so hard for me!! I have to remember than multiple feelings can exist at once & just because im enjoying it doesn’t mean I’m not sad at the same time!! my mom has been sending me videos she’s seen of freshman who agree, so we’re definitely not alone. tons of upperclassmen or those who graduated also say it was hard at first but then it gets much better so im crossing my fingers :)

Knowing that they won’t be there in an hours notice or something. Life does give these knocks but it’s important to persevere through them as it teaches you something!

But every year, it's gets so much easier. You also meet people who share your same interests and it becomes some of the best times in your life. My advice would be to get involved in activities and groups that interest you. I was in the dance company all through college, and meet some of my closest friends.

I feel like i am just trying to distract myself to not feel that emotions but i like to See, that it's normal to struggel ❤ and that everyone feels that way in the beginning. Same, I’m 19 I just started to work at a hospital very far from my house and I moved to an apartment with 7 other girl, for the first week I couldn’t stop crying, I didn’t know how thing will work for me with the apartment or the job. Now starting my second week hoping it’ll get better ❤

Hey hey a little hack for the drawer squeaking: rub the sides of it and the inside like where it slides with either bar soap or deodorant it should be better
this is very specific but we also have 2 showers for 9 girls on our floor and it works out fine. People shower at very different times and you do shower shorter than at home because it is not thaaaat. nice.
I never thought I would start studying so early, but I'm going to study Law with Open University! I've been feeling that that's what God wants me to do 🤞
