Thanks to everyone for stopping by! Apologies in advance for the cicada sounds here - impossible to remove or avoid. That’s summer in Australia for you! If it’s any consolation, they were equally as distracting and loud in real life 🦗
The adventure of seeking out a hidden infinity pool amidst such stunning scenery sounds exhilarating! It is nice to follow your adventures and discover these hidden gems with you. 💖
Despite the detours, still a pretty good day adventure I would say. That camera angle at time 8:45 came out really good! I always love those Aussie trees. Makes me want to come home.
Great video mate! The cicadas are horrendous here atm but something us aussies have to live with😂 You have a reason to head back now and find the pool!
One golden rule for any adventure, regardless of your ability or age, is know when to stop and turn back. Safety first. I am glad that you did. Perhaps try again next time and be more prepared.
So true! My footwear was absolute not suitable for any rock climbing or scrambling, and the way forward (whether it was correct or not) looked unsafe. I’m glad we turned around instead of having a bad fall. In the future, I’d look to bring proper footwear for sure
There must be another way up. I went up there a few years ago and it was an easy walk up to the rock pool at the top. There was a lot more water coming over the rocks when we were there. And we were the only Yacht there.

Thank you - you’re too kind! The cicadas are a very uniquely Australian sound, that’s for sure!

I am sure you are right - I think we missed an obvious turn off somewhere on the way up!
Refuge Bay is pretty deserted in winter but summer, particularly in the holidays and on weekends, it’s packed.
I used to camp at Jerusalem Bay
