- Since arriving in India we have been told by soo many people that we HAVE to visit Kerela, and more specifically we have to go to Munnar.
Munnar is an amazing location in the south of India and we are so so glad that we did decide to visit.
The area is surrounded by beautiful tea plantations and full of stunning hikes.
So we packed our day bag and headed out to take on what we believe might just be the best independent hike you can do in Munnar!

As a keralite I totally disagree, keralites maybe very friendly to foreigners,but they are not so nice to their own kind,many of them are rude.
Kerala is the heaven of nature...so, no surprise in calling it as God's Own Country.
Lovely video and Munnar is truly beautiful! Another amazing place here I Wayanad where you can also see these gorgeous tea plantations, do some trekking and visit ancient caves and temples. Really recommend going to see the Edakkal caves there if you happen to travel to Wayanad too 😊✨🦋🤍

When it comes to Kerala, I like to wake up in the morning, apply coconut oil with 26 herbs, wear a Mundu Veshti, Apply MYOP Perfume, Drink Chai and Eat Toast, then have Avial and then take a Padyatra across Thaikkudam Bridge. I get great feelings in my ears, nose, stomach and heart which give me thrills.

India is beautiful but hygiene is the problem,been to moonar, most of the townships is filthy,garbage all over the place,the local municipality should clean up these towns and make it a fitting place for tourism,as it brings in a lot of revenue.

Man, Himalaya is running from North to Northeast, massive coastline of 7500km, 100+ National parks, 25% forest cover, Western and Eastern ghats supporting amazing flora and fauna, 100s of hill stations , amazing beach vacays, 40 UNESCO World Heritage sites, thousands of ancient architecture, palaces, forts and temples etc.
I could go on but foreigners need to come out of the expression of "I don't believe this is India". Come on guys, you are visiting 5000+ years old Civilizational State. It's a Continent in itself. The south asian nations are referred to as Indian Sub- Continent.
We look at the map ALOT and appreciate the amazing landscape and beauty of India but for most people that have never been they don’t imagine the beauty that India can be so we want to share by stating things like ‘we can’t believe this’ because it’s not what initially comes to mind

One mistake tourist made is just tour citiest those are still recovering from collaboration process and ignore the real India from nature to villages, himalyas beaches desert to 20000 yr old cutural places.
Indian cities are build by british and just started growing since late 1990s so they arent beautiful stretch and are work in progress but test of India is.
