Am i the only one who finds it satisfying/calming when Dr Dray applies each of her skincare products? Or when she prepares her coffee? 😊💞

Really loved this insight into the history of Texas and Houston in particular… as someone who is very unlikely to be able to visit the US( living in Ireland and oxygen dependent) this is fascinating to me. Thank you so much!!!

That mural at minute 12 shows the history of our neighborhood in the East End. The magnolias in the tree represent magnolia park, the laborers at the ship channel who helped build Houston after fleeing the Mexican Revolution, etc. You should visit the Esplanade during a Farmers Market Day.

It's been a dream of mine to live in a Sears & Roebuck home. But any historic home would do. You just can't beat the character of an older home. Hey, A girl can dream. Loved the tour of the interesting homes and hearing the stories that went along with them. I'm glad you've been able to find time to explore the fun things your city has to offer. I love Fall decorations. I have almost as much Fall decor as I do Christmas. I don't put up Halloween decorations but I do carve a pumpkin. Mainly so I can roast the seeds. Lol! Enjoyed the vlog. I live in Delaware and we have a cool little city called Old New Castle. It was originally settled in 1651. Three signers of the Declaration of Independence were from here. The New Castle Historic District is an area approximately 4 by 5 blocks square in the center of town with about 500 historic buildings that date from c. 1700 to 1940. It contains one of the highest concentrations of well-preserved buildings dating from the 17th to early 19th centuries. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967. It's awesome to walk around there!

I had the worst keloid scar on my upper back (the size of a walnut). It formed after my derm took a sample from a mole on my back to have it tested after a skin cancer check. Over the course of 6 months it grew and because of where it was I didn’t notice…until I did. I went back to my derm and she injected with steroid (I had to go for 2 visits of injections) and she successfully removed it. BUT!!! (Super important) I didn’t properly take care of the area with a scar gel or silicone patch because I couldn’t reach it and I only went in once for a post visit (derms will inject with steroid again if the scar is still raised). After another 6 months the keloid came back and was even thicker. It took 6 infections over the course of 5 months before she could remove the keloid again. I learned my lesson.

maintenance ... need repainting often, tin roofs & masses of colonial timber.

Totally loved this historical homes tour. I also subscribe to Urban Exploring with Kappy TH-cam channel. Your tour showed beautifully maintained antique homes. Kappy finds abandoned antique homes. Sad and yet fascinating to wonder how such mansions and family homes were simply left to the elements. Hope you return to the Houston Park homes for an inside tour.
Looking forward to your Timeless review. Tried their Vitamin C serum plus the two you are trying. I was also using tretinoin at the same time. My skin had a redness reaction.

I don't have any scars so I haven't thought much about them. However, my young adult son will be having the Ross Procedure (heart valve replacement) done in a little over two weeks. He is pretty modest and never goes without a shirt, however, I would like to do something to help the scar. I was thinking about scar sheets. I am glad to hear that there are more advanced procedures he could discuss with his dermatologist if he feels the need. When is the best time post surgery to start applying scar sheets? Thanks for the historical tour. My brother left a long career in architecture to become the executive director of our city's historical society. He loves it and has so many interesting stories of the area I have lived my whole life.

Wonder if plastic surgeons also do this as after treatment for scars after surgery, for example, arm lifts, or are these procedures strictly dermatologist procedures? Would like an updated video regarding over the counter products to lessen the redness of scars and soften the scar tissue.

Hi Dr Dray! I used to live in Houston, and it always bothered me how white-washed history was... it was difficult for me to find historical sites that also mentioned the enslaved and the indigenous nations.

I have just had thrift store success finding an "as new" metal Bialettti coffee plunger/press for AU$3. I was seeking out yet another spare metal Bodum (as usual), like Dr Dray's; but was happy to find an Italian made model. Btw, Aldi Aust. has Bodum coffee plungers in this week's catalogue, not metal, the plastic & glass ones for $19.99...I prefer the metal ones though...but check your thrift stores first, that way you'll also be contributing funds to a charity.

How did they move these houses? Where they dismantled then rebuilt at the new location? That must have been fiercely expensive.

Hi, Dr. Dray. Any advice on caring for a new scar from MOHS surgery on my head, in the part of my hair? Sure wish someone would invent a good SPF for the scalp. Just had this MOHS four days ago. Hoping it heals well. Thanks for all you do!

As soon as I was allowed, I used the silicone scar sheets, and they really seemed to help my scar heal nicely. After it healed, I massaged the scar area (on my neck) in order to break down some of the uneven scar tissue. It worked; my scar is barely noticeable now. I put sunscreen on it every single day without fail.

Hi… I had MOHS surgery on my scalp 3 times in the past 7 yrs. The last time it did not heal well and there was a ridge texture that was driving me crazy. My doc finally smoothed it down.
My hair has been thinning lately (I’m 68) and I’ve been thinking the ‘red light laser helmet’ product would help but I forgot about potential skin cancer so I need to ask my doc about that. I wonder if Rogaine would be safe? Last resort… a wig…😕

I have tried to get my timeless products from Amazon. Not the same. As getting from timeless. I just received my ordered Vitamin C ( timeless) from Amazon. Sending it back. It came to me yellow. The last time was two years ago and the serums smelled. Never again. I will Oder from timeless🌺🌸🌺
