Another great upload Keith, showing perfectly what us Wildlife enthusiasts/photographers are prepared to do. If it was easy and predictable,it just wouldn't be so enjoyable. Keep them coming mate. Regards Phil.
Thanks for watching Greg. Yes always good to get out there no matter what happens and it’s amazing how those hours just fly by (even if the birds don’t). Cheers.
Glad you got a pic of the Stoat!, much better than my rear end effort! Great meeting you yesterday at Nene Washes... And very glad those short ears didn’t take off after I left!
Lucky shot on the Stoat. Great meeting you also it was quite weird for me to have someone recognise me from TH-cam lol. Will have to have another go at the Shorties on a different day. Thanks for watching.
i live in tyhe village next to the nene washers can see it from bedroom windows one of the best places to watch a sun set just got back got some awsome pics of the sunset and a pair of swans with four young beat walk round here from whittlesey to rings end
Your video reminds us we are not the only ones. I was up there in exactly the same spot as you in early November and had exactly the same experience. I met a guy, who was up there for the whole week!. Thanks for uploading the video.
Agree Geoff stunning creatures and what better way to spend 7 hours. The good thing is I have an excuse to go back again to try and capture the flight shots :-). Thanks for watching.
Hi Elliot. I am using Canon 5D mk iv with a Canon 100-400 lens. On one of the images there is a 1.4x converter on the lens. General video is done with an I Phone and the video of the owls with the same setup as the stills. Thanks for watching.
See short eared owls where I live and Barn owls only thing i's it's one or the other either the short eared owls are hunting or Barn owls are there never seen them both on the same day really enjoyed your Video most important and true thing you said Patience is key 👍
@@KGsPhotography Hi thankyou well you have just answered my query I think they have gone then possibly and that's why I have only been seeing the Barn Owls recently at dusk overcast days because before I saw the short eared owls eveytime hunting. Do you know where they go abroad in the summer out off interest I wasn't aware they leave the UK ? See alot off Marsh Harriers where I go also but no Kites 👍
@@Jahfriend no expert but I assume they head north for cooler climate. That probably why they are sticking around as the weather has not really warmed up.

Cheers Phil thanks for your support. For me you have to show the success and the failures to make it real.
Oh I Love It. I've Heard Owls Calling Through The Night Many Times, But Never Seen A Wild One In The Day. But I Have Held Two Before Lol
Thanks Paige. They are wonderful mysterious creatures 🙂👍
The other moral of this story is... DON'T STOP AT GREGGS FOR BREAKFAST. Mind you we would have done as well. Great video Keith keep them coming
Thanks Vanessa. Yes and the other moral is don’t do video intros and waste time. Thanks for watching appreciate your support.
That's wildlife for you ... better luck next time . Thanks for the vid..
Thanks Ted don’t worry I will try again. Thanks for watching.
You do much better than me with SEO! They seem to be my nemesis!! Great video!
Thanks Scott. I really want to get back there before winter is out and capture some flight shots. Cheers Keith
Oh Yeah.... I have had many days like this... Though you got out and enjoyed nature and have a few great images as well... Sayin' hey... Greg

I’ll be back as well, they can’t just sit there all day again doing nothing... can they?!
fishfilmer wouldn’t bank on it. Just checked out your channel, definitely need to improve my production techniques. Nice one.
I’ve not added any videos for years... too busy doing them for work to do my own stuff these days.
Enjoying your videos... keep them coming!

Thanks for watching and hopefully they will play ball next time. I have heard there are not many around at the moment. Cheers Keith
@@KGsPhotography I only saw the one bird but jad heard reports of up to 5 birds in late October.
what time did u go was looking out for the owls got some awsome sunset pics and a couple of a family of swans
Was there sunrise for that video. Have been at different times and the best I got of SEO’s was around 4pm when sunset was around 5.30
Still pretty awesome to spend tiem with those owls, even if they weren't up to much! Well worth the time out in the cold I'd say :)

And no time for greggs it will make you late 😁
Jamie Barrera thanks mate but who can resist a Greggs?
😁
Do you think you could explain your gear ?

Thanks for letting me know. Might invest in a 100-400 lens for wildlife do you think it’s a good idea? Keep up the great videos!
Elliot Lawrence it’s a lens I would definitely recommend unless you are looking to step up even further and have a spare 12 grand available.

Thank you. SEOs seem to be sticking around this year as they have normally gone by now. We have both locally which is unusual.
