Great video! I have a GCC cutter with GreatCut 4, as well. I am having a problem with my cuts not completing the entire cut. On my letters and designs there is a small section left in cut. The start point and end point don't match up. Any ideas? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

For example let's say I crop an image and it looks great in adobe but when I input to great cut it doesn't read. Maybe you can help, I would very much appreciated!

I have a gcc 25 expert 24 cutting plotter I use greatcut 4 but during the cutting phase it happens that some lines cannot cut them well, it can only make the outline without going all the way to cut it, some points cut them well and some points no, where am I wrong? I also changed the blade beater but the problem always arises

I am having problems with getting the bitmaps that I am creating and outlining to cut (the cutter just does a load of small cuts in one place repeatedly). But if I send text etc to the cutter, it cuts fine. Is this something that you would be able to help with please?
How do you send from Illustrator to Great Cut? Do you have more videos on using this cutter? Any videos on layering and setting the offset so the outside or inside piece fits perfectly? If so, what should the offset be? Example. You are cutting the letter A but it has 2 colors. Red and a blue outline. 2 seperate cuts.

Greetings all! I just upgraded from Illustrator CS3 to Illustrator 2022. Big change but it was overdue. I also updated from GreatCut2 to GreatCut4, which some of you may know is a pain the A**, but anyway, now I am finding that I can't install plugins from GreatCut4 to Illustrator 2022. Does anyone have any solutions on how to accomplish this?

Can you provide more details? What is the image format? PNG, JPG, etc. Are you sending your image to the right destination? (your printer and not your cutter) Print is not the same as cut, for cut it is OUTPUT.

I’ve used this software before years ago. With this new GreatCut 4 every time I go to output to send it to the cutter it prompts me to save the HPGL file but never cuts
These programs are vector programs, meaning they create images that are scalable like SVG and EPS but with the GCC, you can use a raster Image like a JPG or PNG and perform a contour cut. I'll make a video of that.
I have had hughe problems with my cutter. I owned it for 2 years now and still dont figure how to cut text without the inside of an d b a etc. Can you make a video to explain? No video of that is availeble online. I use Inkscape as program

@@craftees915 I buy expertII - 24 There is no CD so I have to download the software great cut 4 on there website.. I did but when I clicked output it doesn't go through the plotter/cutter .. a box pops out to save it..
@@islandlion8480 Have you installed the driver for your cutter yet? If not, that is the problem. Your cutter and the Great Cut 4 Program are not communicating.
You said you're going be use foil, so left the settings on foil, but you're working with vinyl, not foil ... Try not to make the people mistake foil is vinyl because it is not
You are right, HTV is not foil but the program has that as a default. So it doesn't matter what you call it, the settings are what matter (pressure, speed, blade offset). You can always rename your profile. I have a video on that.

You might want to check that there's no slack on your vinyl. Also, check that you are using a good blade and not a dull blade

Indeed. We've cut very small letters with it but you definitely need a new blade or one that is not used too much.

It may be that you are not using enough pressure or that your cutting strip is already too old and needs to be replaced.

First step, take a deep breath and meditate to a higher power.
Then, make sure your cutter is powered on and connected to your PC.
