I'm a young parent. I never use the chores as a punishment. Chores are what we all do because we are part of the family! Much better that way, IMO. The children, all between ages 2 and 6, do some level of chores.

Because she knows what happens when I say three yes she knows how far she can push me as all of them do it's the same thing with my wife but she is the one that they listen to on the first thing she says for some reason.
