    That shaking though.................Glad you didn’t get stuck!

    Travelled on them quite a few years back and recalled them being pretty smooth overall. Certainly nothing of the sort you guys experienced! But the OTIS cabs at the Ren Cen in Detroit (gold versions) sometimes have some shake like that. Posted those on my own channel. Guess it's just "classic OTIS" by this point ;p.

    That's the famous elevator that had the snapped cable, that is scary!

    I see the damn lifts/elevators still haven't been frickin replaced! As if the incident that occurred back in 2018 didn't convince this tower to replace the lifts

      What happened to them?

    • @SPS8elevatorsoflakecounty
      @SPS8elevatorsoflakecounty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There’s absolutely no need to replace them. The “accident” was the elevators working EXACTLY as they were supposed to. These elevators run perfectly fine as is.

    I hate what the media made out of the incident that happened here. “Elevator Plummets From 94th Floor To 11th Floor” smh...

    • @atomstarfireproductions8695
      @atomstarfireproductions8695 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It didn’t actually plummet, despite media saying it did. The cable broke on the 20th floor actually, and the brake stopped it at the 11th.

      atom starfire productions, Yes, I know it didn’t plummet. That’s what I was trying to say in my comment.

    These certainly have character of their own... they may very well could use some TLC. Was 96 locked?

    That panel looks kind of weird being raised from the rest of the return, but very cool lifts overall
