@@thepedalpicassos I have that and the tech 21 blonde, which it is a replica of, and I'm more partial to the Joyo due to its layout. Same EXACT gain structure. The tweed tones on that pedal kick ass!
Everything feels better, the pots feel a lot stiffer that Jaks seem to be a lot stronger, and yes it does actually have a lower noise floor! There is no way for us to measure the input resistance but the joyo seems to take pedals a little bit better
I'm thinking about buying mosky pedal. I've read that it's a cabsim pedal. so can I use mosky cabsim and preamp directly to the line without amp and get good tone? thank you for your review, love from far east Russia 😅
Great video. And you hit a very important point. You need two separate pedals. One for your drive pedal and the other for a clean sound. Turning off the drive pedal without the second pedal will just give you the sterile sound because you will be direct into the p.a.
Ordered the Mosky, because it looked better 😊 That said, can I plug this straight into my mixer? Or do I need a DI box? New to this, sorry if I ask obvious questions
Hiya mate, both sound incredibly good (great playing helps also). I'm thinking of buying one or the other but basically for clean sounds (+ pedals) in case my amp goes down. As you said the Moskey seems to have more gain but also sounds more organic to my ears 🤔 Other question, I've heard people say that the Joyo is noisy... What do you think? Keep up the great work, love from the south of France 👍
Within this line of amplifier simulator pedals, have you already tested the Flamma Preamp? It's a pedal that simulates seven different amps, each with a clean channel and a "dirty" channel. I believe you will like this pedal. I also have a Mosky M-shall (which you also have) and a Mosky M-sa. They are very useful and cheap pedals.
Great question I would normally place it after my drive and gain sections but before my modulation and timebased effects! But you can place it anywhere, there is no right or wrong! Just experiment and see what works for you!
I just bought both. The American arrived and sounded incredible through a super champ xd on the cleanest voicing. I took it to my brother’s house for him to try out. I don’t think I’ll get it back so I bought the Mosky also. It hasn’t arrived yet. The Mosky was $20 on Aliexpress. Hurry!
Mmm , if you would compare two of the Mosky, or two of the Joyo, you would still find different tones due to the tolerances of resistors, capacitors etc. because budget pedals are build with budget components …
I have the MOSKYaudio Classic AC-30 pedal, it's a ripper. I also have the AMMOON American Sound, equally excellent. The MOSKYaudio series are cheap enough to try them all.
The Joyo American is a great pedal. I like how it'll do tweed, black panel, even brown panel amp analog simulation
You are so right! It’s a great pedal.

Which one has the lowest noise floor: Irin/Horse, Mosky or Joyo? Which one is your personal favorite one?
The Joyo!!!
@@thepedalpicassos better than the Horse/Irin?
@@thepedalpicassos Is it your favorite one or does it have a lower noise flloor? is the noise floor of the Joyo different from the Horse/Irin?

Yep! You can go directly into a PA or an FRFR speaker!

I have had the joyo one for a while but decided to get the mosky to save real estate. Should arrive soon. Hope mosky do Mesa and Orange versions too

Thanks mate! You are 100% correct!

Great question! No DI box required! Have fun with it mate!
@thepedalpicassos how is the mosky fen dr for jazz guitar playing usibg a Les Paul?
Hiya mate, both sound incredibly good (great playing helps also).

Thanks mate! To me, somehow the Joyo just “feels” better. I don’t experience any more noise with it, than other gain stages.

We have a good relationship with Flamma… I’ll ask if they will send us one!
Where do we place this pedal on the chain ?

That is super cheap! The American just has that something extra though.
Great video Rod! I'm leaning towards the Joyo. Both cool pedals but I think the Joyo just sounds better. Thanks!
Me too, Chip. It also “feels” better, if that makes sense?
Mmm , if you would compare two of the Mosky, or two of the Joyo, you would still find different tones due to the tolerances of resistors, capacitors etc. because budget pedals are build with budget components …
Absolutely!
Could the tone difference come from the cabsim in the Joyo ?
Hmmmm…..you can’t switch the cab sim on either pedal. I think the overall eq of both incorporates a cab sim “sound”.
Forgot to ask do they run of batteries ?
JOYO does but not MOSKY
excuse me Which of the two is better?
Neither is better, just different tonality’s ..
Is mosky digital or analog?
Not sure, but Amazon says it's analog. Mosky site does not give info about it, though
They're both completely analog

Yes! Standby - I have the Mosky AC-30 and the Marshall on the way….
