Agree to some degree but I must add that one doesn’t need to change your mind to match your body. What is important is accepting and being comfortable in one’s body. If a man wants to wear makeup, so what? Male k-pop stars do it all the time and they’re still male. If a man prefers activities that are normally enjoyed by women like crocheting, so what? All of these gender stereotypes are actually confusing people into thinking there’s something wrong with their bodies. Your interests, hobbies, fashion styles, etc. does not need to change based on your body. They are separate. Scottish men wear skirts, men from ancient tribe wore flowers in their hair to attract mates. These are social preferences that have nothing to do with the natural body. Anatomically, pants should be uncomfortable for men, but it’s modern society’s preferred dress code for men. It has nothing to do with biological sex.

No one should have healthy functional body parts removed to treat a mental condition. Sex can not be changed by surgery, only hacked about. Self diagnosis and unquestioning affirmation is not the best treatment plan. How many times do we hear of patients, women in particular, being told it's all in there heads? Only to find out painful years later there was an underlying condition. Why is gender dysphoria such a sacred cow that it can never be questioned, examined and treated by anything but affirmation? Apply the same standard to any other disturbance of the mind. No, it does not make sense.

Our soul will live on forever either in Heaven or Hell once our physical body isn't able to sustain life so that the spirit of the person can exist in it any longer.

That those who express regret represent such a tiny number. But as more and more people make it known that transitioning was not appropriate for them, I simply don't believe it is a small number. It is wonderful he is speaking out. The books "Irreversible Damage" and "Don't Get on the Plane: Why a Sex Change Will Ruin Your Life" should be required reading prior to anyone going down the Frankensteinian horror show that is "gender affriming" surgery.
Therapists knew a few decades ago that the way to deal with gender confusiion was to assist clients in dealing with trauma and/or accepting their sexual orientation, and did just that.

I was abused as a young child and I’m SO thankful that I did learn about God way back then although Christianity wasn’t practiced at my home, my mom sent me to a Christian School and youth camps where I learned love and acceptance. I don't believe he mentioned a wife, just that he was married with two stepchildren. Maybe he has a husband. Most people who are lied to about being able to change sex are homosexuals and if left alone during puberty come out as gay or lesbian.

Back in the 80’s I attended a photography course. On the course was a man who was about to go through transition. He was also under psychiatric treatment to ensure he was doing the right thing! He was featured in Mayfair magazine, they ran a story on him because it was a big deal. Back then transitioning was taken far more seriously and seemed much harder to do compared to today!
Hats off to Billy for being totally open about this subject and letting young people know how this can go seriously wrong, mentally and physically.

There are lots of kids that are struggling to feel accepted, or have faced trauma or are just a little different. Making all kids feel loved and accepted is what society needs to address, first and foremost.

This is a heartbreaking story of a man who had to face multiple challenges in his life over his gender issues that was encouraged by the counsellor . The surgeries are nothing short of a series of nightmares. He is a courageous man to have overcome this transition . I am so happy to know that he found himself again thru this ardous journey n his faith in God n marriage. All the best to him!🌹

I love Billy and his testimony ever since I saw some years ago his story in a video. I could feel how he was touched by God and how true was his experience. I think of your testimony and I just see the love of God and how we should love others going through the same process.
