    I chuckle along when you say or sing silly things. I'm watching at night just before bed, while watching I'm so eager to go outside and play with my succulents. But....can't to this until the weather warms up. Too darn cold to do what I want outside. Happy gardening

    Good day Liz! I love spending time in your virtual garden. You should make a real virtual tour! I'd pay to check it out. Lol.
    Anyway, I would love if you could do a video talking about what it means to be a tissue culture succulent.

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No need to do a video for that. There are many videos on TH-cam that could show this or better explain this much better than I can.
      But in my understanding is that it's a process of growing plants via cells or tissue. That means(just as an example)... One can grow thousands of plants from just one small leaf or piece of stem or plant tissue. Cheers

    • @lindsaysmith2510
      @lindsaysmith2510 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow. That's incredible. I'm surprised the plants grown this way can be just as hardy as naturally formed succulents. Thank you so much!!

    If you can please tell me what are Molded wax agavoides

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Molded wax in my understanding is a name given to a shiny cultivar of a speciific Echeveria agavoides. For example, Echeveria agavoides 'Romeo' or Echeveria agavoides 'Vista Giant'

    • @jyotikagonsalves6505

    I can't wait to start propagate some of my succulents this coming spring to grow my collection. Weather is not as cold as we are at the last end of winter in Melbourne.
    Liz, do you think its ok to head chop and propagate some succulents now or wait? Like pvn, agavoides, echeveria?

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Best time to headchop now and dry/rest inside to grow roots ready for spring planting.

    • @Lisa-zi8dj

  • @ellenbranham8524
    @ellenbranham8524 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dear Liz I was just wondering if you sell just leafs off of your succulents and what you would charge and if you don't do that I understand and thank you for your videos I really enjoy them and you have taught me so much im just amazed by your plants your friend ellen

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't sell any at all because my problem is time. It will take a lot of time to go around, collect, catalogue, process, pack up and post. Not to mention the amount of time it'll take to message back and forth.
      May I suggest joining groups on Facebook Succulent groups. There's a lot of sellers, swaps and also freebies. You just have to go through the feed from time to time. Good luck and have fun.

    Good morning Liz. I am transplanting my succulents in the winter. It this a good or bad time.?

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unless they're summer dormant succulents like Aeonium, I tend to leave them alone until Spring when they're growing. If I'm using a grow light, that's the only time I will transplant in Winter.
