Your garden is a fantasy world! Absolutely amazing! I could get lost in there for days. I love to hear the absolute pure joy and excitement from you when you see your plants! LOL I consider you an expert and I love to hear how excited you get.Some people just don't understand it, trust me I do! I spend hours just staring at my plants. They amaze me. Mother nature is phenomenal!!!!
I too spend hours with our not so big garden. The house sits in the middle. The space i call garden it 4 meters by 10 meters. It is a garden in the making, still in progress...forever😉😁

@@marilavina6763 I hit the jackpot today! I went to a big box retailer and they had the most gorgeous succulent arrangements but me being a wise person all I did was lift up all the pots and took all of the leaves that had fallen off, some of them actually had Roots already. there was a Burro's tail with the head chopped off maybe 4 inch long so I picked that up and I did end up buying an absolute gorgeous echeveria purpusorum!!! I ended up with about thirty propagating leaves and an absolutely gorgeous plant for just $10!!!!! Oh and let's not forget the Burro's tail! It was Christmas for me!!!
Despite the amount of rain we've been getting, no root rot so far and these succulents have remained colorful.
I am from Canberra too. I think the drizzling rain is so good for all the plants.

It's like a magical fantasy garden with all those beautiful colors and little minerals everywhere! It must be the paradise to be able to just walk through this 😍
The only good thing about a cold winter is the magic colours the succulents give us, I had to chuckle at your excitement Liz discovering what your plants were putting on show for you, it reminds me of your wonderful excitement you show when you find a gem or nugget out in the field. don't ever lose your enthusiasm! It's a joy to watch!

How do you handle it when soil becomes hard? Where water cannot get absorbed into it? I don’t want to break roots. I thought you would know. You’re brilliant when it comes to succs.

I didn't see a Dudleya Brittonii in the collection, that's probably a difficult one to acquire in Australia. ( maybe I missed it? )

Hi Liz, I was just wondering what part of the world you live. With able to grow your succs outdoors. I’m in Tennessee in America. I couldn’t get the soil wetter you use. Shipping too high. But looking for some here. Your garden is beautiful
Not sure if you can get lawn/grass wetter or wettings agents in USA. You can use them too but if you find a Seaweed base, then it's much better. I'm in Canberra, Australia.

Can you tell me what aloe vera that is at 0:47 (the beginning of the video) with the gorgeous red tips? It's fantastic! And never worry that your video is too long. I could watch them for hours!
Hi Michele, It's called Aloe dorotheae (Sunset aloe). That can go all fiery red in summer but not frost hardy so I have to keep that in my outdoor covered area in winter. Thanks for watching and stay healthy. Cheers, Liz

Do they not get overwatered or wet being outside
They do get wet and overwatered because we've had too much rain lately; but the soil mix I use keep the roots of the plant fairly dry.

I got some left over from previious repottings. I hope my succulents retain its beauty like yours. I dudnt know how besutiful succullents can be until i saw your channel. Thanks

It's called Echeveria Gusto. One of my favorite.
