There's a good reason for the Husky having a windscreen - it reduces the bug splatter on the pilot's front teeth ;-)

Wow. Congratulations Captain Browne on acquiring this beautiful Husky. When Cabela's opened their Fort Worth store I met Dick and Mary Cabela and General Chuck Yeager. I was so thrilled to shake the hand of General Yeager that I was in tears hardly believing this was true. It seems to me that senior pilots have something in common all being well spoken and exceptionally bright. It was a privilege to "meet" the original owner of your Husky and to listen to a few accounts even though brief. I would encourage you bring him back as you do periodically with Dan. These are wonderful individuals as you are Juan. Many thanks.

Awesome. I did my tailwheel endorsement in a Husky A-1B. It is, hands down, my favorite aircraft I've ever flown. I really appreciate how overbuilt they are; all of their hardware has such crisp, tight tolerances. Just an all-around great bird!

I believe you are ten years off on your date of the first Husky. I ferried a new one out of the factory in '87. In 85 I was delivering an S 2S to be refurbished and General Mgr Herb Anderson got angry with a factory worker that had accidentally walked me through the area where the prototype was being built. He calmed down after I showed no interest in it. (I thought they were rebuilding a PA12 !) Beautiful airplane Juan. I don't care what the Super Cub snobs say, I'd be proud to own any Husky.

I can understand why the beloved Luscombe had to find a new home. Life's too short and with your passion for the great outdoors, one can see now that you needed a "fast dirt bike" for the sky! May all your flights be inspiring, breathtaking and safe. The dream is only a fantasy if you don't live it! I don't envy your success, rather I am grateful to you for sharing it for us that have a love for flight we cannot describe to anyone but another passionate aviation enthusiast! God bless and may he always remain your "co-pilot"😇🙏✌🖖😍😘🦅🦅

Thanks Juan for the tour. My old Quicksilver MX wasn’t really good at cross country flying. I realized just recently that what I really used it for was as an elevator. Almost always went right back where I started from! Went up like a homesick angel. Trim with throttle, and it flew hands off. No pesky instruments or prop to spoil the view! Proves the rule; all aircraft excel at one particular thing that is design dependent. You put a smile on my face, and a song in my heart! N.E.OH Bob

This was great Juan! I’ve toured the Aviat facility (and flew a new Husky) in Afton and it is quite the place. For someone like ourselves who eat, drink and sleep airplanes it’s like a kid in a candy store. I did some aerial drone filming at the Cessna factory in Wichita for the release of the Citation Longitude and was able to tour the Cessna facility. Which don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely amazing, but the Aviat factory just has a indescribable ambiance about it (not to mention security isn’t so high lol). It’s more of a touchy feely type place of which I cant get enough. Living in the SLC area, its quite close and we do a ton of snowmobiling up there so I have been lucky enough to get to know and become friends with many of the local airplanes guys. Of course this area is full of them because well, the Aviat factory is about all there is in Afton.😂 As a side note....our hundred dollar hamburger is the Rocky Mountain Seafood restaurant. We fly up there wet often just to get their shrimp bread, but everything is great there. Weird I know, but yes, there is an amazing seafood joint bfe Afton Wyoming.😂 Anyone that is been there knows how strange this seems. Sorry for the novel, but this one hits close to home. Keep up the good work and be safe!

The Husky is fantastic - BUT - the absolute best part of Blancolirio is seeing aviators enjoying one another and 'Chewin' the fat'. Love the 'Vulture's Row' T-shirt on other vids. Spent many a day/night looking down on Vulture's Rows from Pri-Flys on board various 'Bird Farms'! Our slogan: "WE do it in 300 feet!"

“Like a homesick Angel” I love that phrase. Your flying skills and your channel are a gift to the public- whether they’re in aviation, trying to be, or just curious fans.
Congrats on the new wings, you’re a great guy and we’re all looking forward to the future adventures you’ll share with us. I admire your passion for flying and truly appreciate your passion for teaching and sharing your wisdom and knowledge with the world.
Thanks for taking us for a ride in your new plane, this Texas lady who doesn’t know how to fly really enjoyed getting a front seat view.

Looks like a great plane to have a lot of fun with. Friends of mine live just south of Afton. A few years ago while visiting they took us on a tour of the Aviat factory. Its was a real treat to see those people basically hand building complete airplanes, Not something you would expect to see in a very small town of Afton. Enjoy your new toy.

I got to fly a brand new one of these a couple of weeks ago because of a very generous owner. The fit and finish is incredible. It flies like it's a little heavy, and high pitch forces through the stick suggest the one I flew was perhaps a bit nose heavy. Very solid and safe feeling aeroplane, and luxurious as a bush plane can be. It's a flying Range Rover.
Like Juan I also used to have a Luscombe, and TBH, I prefer that. It's lighter, sweeter handling, and will get in and out of mostly the same runways, as long as you don't have a fat copilot or want to take anything like the luggage the Husky is capable of.

I dont really like the ones where you hear zero engine sounds. My burning question is, Where is the Mighty Luscombe?
And have you done a video on that BA 777 that swallowed the iced up fuel and landed deadstick just over the fence at...was it Heathrow? I would love to hear HOW they managed to just clear those homes...something about reducing the flaps?? Anyway, thanks a ton.

Absolutely beautiful piece of equipment! Had 180 HP Super Cubs at the AFA back in the early eights as glider tows. I think these aircraft are impressive.

Thank you for the back seat ride along with you and the three point landings always works for me

By about halfway through the video, I was so damned jealous of you Juan, I swore that I would never watch another one of your videos.... Then I saw how you had to climb in and out of the cockpit. Lol
I'm glad that you clarified what you were doing with the flaps on takeoff.
Wow! I had no idea that those Bush tires are so expensive!
    Beautiful plane!
    Enjoy!

Just a thought, if you put a road cone on the floor under the Aileron hinge it might warn you the above danger!

I appreciate your videos as a non pilot .
Grandfather flew Hellcat F6F in South Pacific. I have always dreamed of flying and can get a really good view of what it must be like, watching your videos .
    Thanks
