How to use Cake Shape Guides

Today we are learning how to use our new Cake Shape Guides with Rachael. In this video she is using a scallop cake shape guide set with cake cream (a beautiful Swiss meringue buttercream that we sell and make here in Australia!). The scallop is our most popular design, and also, one of the most difficult to work with so if you can master this shape then you can certainly master them all!
Make sure that your cake is chilled as it is easier to frost and will prevent the buttercream coming off of the board. We also recommend using buttercream in between each layer to keep the cake firmly in place and baking paper that has been cut to shape for a smoother buttercream finish.
