- So I am back in a Abarth 595 competizione! The 595 comp is a car that I have so much love for. Abarth have been very kind to give me the 595 competizione, not only because I have wanted to get behind the wheel of one but also to introduce something exciting that we will be doing abarth related! Got to love the sound of the record monza exhaust when you accelerate in the Abarth 595 comp! Also with 70 years of Abarth this year its great to see there are some 70th anniversary Abarth cars this year.

I don't know....been subscribed for maybe 3 months after I bought my new 500 Abarth. Loved your channel and fell in love with my brand new white and red 2018 500 Abarth. Daily driver, having more fun coming and going to work than work itself. I am sure you all understand! 40 MPG average and a head turner. Can't count the waves and thumbs-up I've gotten from other Fiat owners on the road. Very cool. By the way, you wear a toboggan knit hat better than anyone else I know. Rock on!

I came for the Abarth content, and stayed because of the amazing quality of all of your content!
I've had an Abarth 595, it was an amazing little car! Sold it last year and bought an Audi S3. The S3 was really quick, and a great daily but just too boring. So I sold it. And now I'm in an A 45 AMG, and it's amazing. I can totally understand why you bought yours. Mine is also Red but unfortuanately doesn't have the aero package but the price was just too good....
Anyways, nice to see Abarth content again! 💪

Was very sad when you sold your abarth, the passion you had for your Abarth was one of the reasons I bought one and modified it myself. Been following you for a couple years. But all good things must come to an end, and you didn't exactly buy a boring replacement. Keep up the content man.

Don't know where you live but Abarth's are incredibly affordable, almost crazy inexpensive here in the United States. I bought a 500 Abarth brand new 4 months ago for less than I could buy an American brand car. Loving every day of driving it. Best to you and yours, Rivet Gardener.
So worth the big bucks and a lot of fun and that's what drivings about

Stef ABtv awesome, I have the 2019 model but I’d love to see you make some content on one. I was told by the dealership though that the first 1000 miles it has a 15% restriction on the ECU to “break it in” and the exhaust takes a few thousand to break it in after that also. I made a video on my channel showing the exhaust sounds off but since then (4000 miles later) I have to say that it does sound even better!

Some sad news from stateside Stef, its rumored that both Fiat and Alfa to leave our shores once again. Our low gas prices are putting people back into fat, boring SUV's and pick up trucks and although Fiat and Alfa both have a nice SUV each it's only ONE each 😐

But I have resisted.... However.... The Merc is a fantastic car really it is....and your content has just got better and better.... Honest it has.... LOL.

This car, genuinely, seems like a spiritual successor to the original (1960's), Cooper S. To me, admittedly getting rather long in the tooth, it appears classless and appeals to male/female alike, and you don't need to be a footballer to afford one. Fantastic.

Intercoolers for the turbo being housed in each wing and crammed engine bay, therefore there is hardly any space for the wheels to move.
Same reason apparently they only have 5 speed boxes, just no space for anything else.

Don't let it put you off I loved my old 145 base model and my new Competizone is brilliant. You soon get over the fact that you look an idiot trying to park a very small car and have to do it in about 3 manoeuvres!
Ride is solid but no different to a Fiesta ST or something similar.

I have an abart comp. I sat in an A45 with heated seats and a faster car...I think you've been there and done it. So next upgrade and not the Abarth. It's like going back to an old girlfriend where it didn't work out in the end and you need to move on. Should've tried another trend setter. Bad move.
