I did it the same way you did but it came off!
The design became bright after heating even the candle melted but did not work☹️
1- Some videos say we should print on the shiny side of the tissue paper, which side is correct to print on?
2- What's the different between tissue and tracing papers in this project?

be aware, all scents are highly toxic!
Not really. It depends on what they are made with. Essential oil ones are fine.
