I've said it before. Fin is the best defensive flyhalf and by that and his attacking skills, he is the best flyhalf in the world.
His tackling is so good, yet I almost never hear it getting mentioned. Great video!
All the best fly halves have a good physical ability, they have secure channels and can play on the gainline if they need to Russel is a Legend

He's a smarter tackler than Wilkinson, who I have the highest regard for, but used to be punch drunk by the end of many games.
Some great hits, good work finding the ones on Samu Manoa v USA 2015 and on Nick Williams v Ulster (assisted by Bennett).
A great variety of tackles as well, taking down big lads 1 on 1, tracking down wingers, tap tackles and rips as well.
Definitely Finn packs a Punch at 10 saw him 6n,s ,absolutely Melted was it a 2nd Row or Back Row !
Plus he is what Q Cooper wanted to be 👏🏴

The word "Maverick" carries more than a hint of criticism.
Russell is the best at 10 in the world for me over past say 5 years.

He was a stonemason before he turned pro. He's hard as fuck.
Like he really improved at racing. but as you can see, he had some proper tackles at glasgow aswell
