When the paper is folded into the middle at the beginning, make sure the coloured side is facing up, if you have a white side to the paper.

If you use double sided wrapping paper, use the one you don't want on the outside when you start, then the end result will have the desired color or print.

It takes a few, but once you figure it out they are pretty quick, and I haven't done origami in years!
My mom and I were making New Year's Eve presents, and we bought everything but then my mom noticed that we forgot to buy ribbons so I looked this up and made one of your origami ribbons and my mom was completely blown at how beautiful it is :) you really saved us the trouble of buying cloth ribbons when these ones are so gorgeous! thank you Paper Kawaii! :D

This is my favorite origami tutorial *EVER!!!!* I watched this, like twenty times lol. I thought my bow was going to be trash (because I suck at origami), but this tutorial is very easy to follow and relaxing!!!!

Sounds like you made a waterbomb base by mistake, it needs to be a Square base instead, have a look at this, www.origami-instructions.com/origami-square-base.html and try again :)

It was easy to make too
I LOVED the upbeat music toward the end. It made me feel like I was in an anime while finishing the final product. Totally adorable and kawaii!
I hope I don’t sounds rude I LOVE that you don’t talk over the audio. It was extremely easy to follow, the music was very calm and didn’t stress me out, and the simple background made the folds easy to see. I watched the video once and on the second time I followed along and now I have a wonderful box to stick onto a gift box! Thank you very much!
Arghh I just lost what I wrote .. long story short .. THANKYOU!!! Perfect instructions. And it was the traditional kirigami bow I was looking for.
I preferred to not trim my bow, instead I folded it in & then back on itself. So it sort of cascades.
I have written instructions but they did not explain the 3rd step where you fold it into 1/4's .. NOW I see .. :)
I can't believe how gorgeous this bow is. Paper is SO versatile & so strong .. it never ceases to amaze me.

Oh this brings back so many memories! I was so into origami when I was younger, I’m pretty sure I made most of the things this channel had.

Wonderfully clear video and a good pace, i only needed to pause a couple of times. Ive found it looks good without cutting the 'tails' too, so have two versions of the bow now :-)
