- So previously we covered the Dishonored base game and had a tonne of fun playing through it and getting all of the achievements for it. But now it's time to complete the three DLC packs and get all achievements for them as well. Dunwall City Trials, Knife Of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches... and when I tell you that I haven't been this stressed about collecting achivements in a long time, I truly mean it...

As someone who ground out the 100% achievements, seeing someone else driven insane by the Trials DLC was cathartic

I’m surprised there wasn’t a sarcastic achievement for killing the empress in the dunwell trials cause that shot of the entire rooms looks are just priceless

I've done this achievement run. It was the first game I really tried to get the achievements for and it got me hooked on achievement running. The dunwall trials nearly drove me insane but still as a whole the game was a lot of fun to 100%.
I've also done all these so I know your pain.

I used to trophy hunt but Dunwall Trials broke me and made me hate dishonored, which is a shame because the rest of the game was decent. I hope whoever made that dlc has to step on lego bricks for the rest of their life.
@@EresirThe1st yea I tried the trophy hunt last week and I fucking hate this game right now. I used to love this game with its well designed stealth mechanics and this dlc basically exposed all the other bad designed mechanics
If you can find all the scout witches and choke them out before inserting the coil in the mission "The Dead Eels", they will not attack the crew at the end and you can remain silent, with no one dying.
Alternative just hang underneath a carriage and pop smoke or sleep dart (stun trap)
the headshot mission was a thing that stoped me trying to get the 100%
i came back to it after 5 years the Dunwall City Trials are just brutal.

Glad to see you gave Dishonored a go, it's one of my top favourite games of all time despite its flaws.
Hope to see many more games you might have missed. Space Marine has always been one of my favourites too, I forget if it has a fun achievement run though.
I have recently played through all the Dishonored games again (it's a yearly thing really). I played like one or two of the trials when that DLC released back when it came out, and decided I am never doing another one of these. They just weren't fun, and seeing your issues with them (and being RNG-tied, didn't know that!) glad I never bothered. Forget the dopamine dose for getting that achievement, not gonna happen.
The Knife of Dunwall / Brigmore Witches are some of the best parts of the Dishonored "lore building" environmental story telling. Such great stuff.
fun fact: you can complete knife of dunwall in high chaos and collect the coins as as long as you are a ghost in bridgemore witches, you'll get the enough coins to dissapear

Bro, I can't really tell you how much Dunwall City trials drained my soul, I miss like 2-3 achievements to have the platinum, all of them from this sadistic dlc, and I'm from console, so good luck to me.

Fun fact, the dunwall city trials have so many glitches that make them easier. The headshots are only tracked by making sure your kills = headshots, so you can just clip to the end of the trial through the walls, and get it easy. I found out after doing it on console. Bonfires has this weird quirk to how the blinks interact with the walls in very specific locations allowing to to partially run on walls for a few moments, which in a few places trick the game into thinking you did tricky jumps. My hand alone is still a pain, but it's much easier when you know which specific places enemies can spawn, where to stand that causes them to aggro you first, and spring razors to cover problematic placements, but the best one by far is the oil tank when placed right will get knocked and blow up anybody near the problem areas when they run towards eachother.
I knew none of this at the time. I seethe in hate forever now.

I'm currently on the Dunwall City Trials and ...I've never, ever seen myself so much driven to insanity so much about rinse and repeat as with this DLC. I think the worst one that broke me was the Time Massacre achievement (not failing any wave + bonus wave). Where a lot of the things I did exactly was told in the guide to do, still screwed up because of random shenanigans. I swear I wanted to throw myself out of the window after 2.5 hours of trying. Surprisingly the Assassin's Run one went fairly smooth after watching a video guide, telling you exactly what to do. because for a FACT, the dude that walks the stairs actually becomes stuck around 7 minutes of waiting........i would've never known this if it wasn't for the guide I watched.

I just finished the Dunwall City Trials on the Xbox 360 recently and then happened to find this. The Headhunter achievement was one of the most frustrating, stressful achievements I've ever completed. By the time I was down to one enemy left my hands were shaking so much I had to pause and wait fifteen minutes before attempting to take the shot.
I remember headhunter and daredevil and how much of a PAIN they were. I raged so hard but managed to get them in the end. I've got the platinum on every dishonored game and dlcs, and in my opinion the dunwall city trials (especially headhunter and daredevil) are the hardest achievements of them all.
Excellent videos, high quality editing, funny and informative commentary, well structured from a narrative standpoint nice narrative rythm you should have way more subs! Complete your dishonored journey with Dishonored 2 and it’s standalone DLC “Death of the outsider” I wanted to do a 100% achievement run but I saw the dunwall city trials’ achievements and said “hell no” after watching your video I’ll definitely do it now.
Also I’d love to see you complete Hollow Knight and all it’s achievements.

i subbed after your dishonored video, i had originally thought you were a huge channel that i was missing out on. to my surprise you only have 15k! you seem so experienced and professional, and your content is on the level of some with millions. love the content man!
Saying it again because you asked in the ending but please do dishonored 2 it's one out of only like five games I've ever 100% completed and I enjoyed every bit of it. The others being resi4, resi5, and persona 5 so it's in very good company for me.
As an achievement collector this channel is great :)
Also worth noting at the time I got my score, I had the 13th highest score in the world on Back Alley Brawl lol

Dunwall City Trials achievements are the hardest one but I've beaten this games with all achievements with pleasure in 2018 on my Xbox One :)

Great video! I remember when I 100% Dishonored as its one of my favourite games of all time... the by my hands alone achievement can die in a fire 😂
So fun fact: you don't start Brigmore Witches with 3,000 (plus the 500 in your hideout) if you import your game. Instead you start with however much coin you had at the end of The Knife of Dunwall.
Watching your video taught me about the 3,000 coins because I always imported my previous save.
Also fun fact: You can avoid the witches spawning after you put the engine coil back if you eliminate (knock out) all of the witches in the sewer (6 total, the "damsel", the one talking to the statue of Delilah, the two outside the room where you found the damsel, and the two in the control room).
I usually use an upgraded stun mine on the two outside the damsel room (as I'm going to call it) before I go into that room. Hit the damsel with a sleep dart, choke out the one talking to Delilah, then time stop and hit the last two with sleep darts.
Different strategies depending on your goal. I rock stealth. You can get high chaos while being stealthy.

Man I watched the first dishonored video and I didn't even notice you're a new channel; you're doing great.
Dishonored and Skyrim are the first two games I ever 100% completed and the rage I'd feel going through a whole level scouring for every clue only to get to the end to realise someone I knocked unconcious was eaten by rats or fell like down a single step and died making it my kill Made me realise the difference in achievements between like "buy a plot of land and build a house" to "make sure fucken everyone's unconcious bodies are off the ground"
Watched both videos back to back and I gotta say, this is some good stuff. Hope you do Dishonored 2 sometime in the future

Fun fact before you put the coil in the ship all the witches are hiding in that little tunnel that's blocked off where all the sick people were. So before you put the coil in you can go put them all to sleep with the sleep darts.

One game I'd be interested in seeing you cover is Kingdom Hearts 1HD trophies the game isn't super hard , and in the history of games It's a noteworthy one.
That 10k coins achivement is just evil and stupid. To force u to play both dlcs all over again in stealth and look every corner while in Dark Vision 24/7. So that achivement meet my cheat engine and i have 0 regrets
I can't believe I 100% this game on Steam back in the day, I like to display my rarest achievements on my profile and the only ones that show are those from the Trials. I completely understand why less than 1% of players got the Void Star and Headhunter achievements.
Could have saved you some time, because you don’t actually need low chaos for the 10,000 coins achievement. You could have just collected everything in the high chaos achievement and done them in one run. At least, that’s what worked for me
I got all of the achievements on this DLC on the Xbox. The Daredevil one almost drove me insane and was by the hardest purely because of the RNG!
Will you also do Dishonored 2? I've always loved the series but I just find trying to complete everything extremely hard on console

The dunwall city trails achievements are definitely pain in the arse. They are literally as ridiculous as high score achievement spitfire game in bioshock 2 dlc.

as someone who 100%'d dishonored back from 2015 - 2018. and used to rock 140th position on expert back alley brawl global scoreboard.

14:13 the achievement is actually for beating corvo in the dream sequence, if you lose to him you just wake up... it is a dream after all
I'll be honest - and this isn't an insult to the DbD community, but this kind of content is leagues more appealing than just the one game. It shows an in-depth pursuit into multiple titles and genres, as opposed to combing through one game with only one game mode. Love to see more of this!
I know it's been a while, but in case anyone needs a tip on the "Enough coin to disappear" achievement, you actually CAN do it in high chaos! Just make sure to be THOROUGH when searching for coins and DON'T spend any of them on favors or ammo.
Respect to those who are willingly get every single City Trial's trophy. I just couldn't be bothered with getting all.

At some point I'll also get the dunwall trails achievements, but that time is not no. I finished up the rest, as well as what achievements I was missing in dishonered 2 and Death of the Outsider to get them to 100% a couple months ago. Great games, atmosphere makes me think of Plague tale and the art is awesome. I'll probably replay them again in 2-3 years.

One of the hardest 100% I've done. Mainly for the RNG element to this. It's not like you could just get good there were other random factors at play.

I never even touch trials and I replay this game at least once a year.
6:02 that statement makes absolutely no sense to me, since I was failing not due to my own mistakes but due to the fact it relies on bad design it wasn't as bad as if I sucked (either the achievement is poorly designed or there should be a set order to ghe lights so it's always possible)
it sucks when I'm sucking at something but I know I will get better and eventually succeed, but my god is it infuriating when I'm doing everything right but something completely out of my control is snatching success away from me and I gotta just retry and pray. this is something I drop games over if it's wasting my time for no bloody reason I want none of it, if I'm losing time due to suck then I generally eventually stop sucking and move on.
I did almost every achievement of this game but the headhunter achievement was actual pain, never finished it. Kinda sad because some of these were pretty fun, but the achievements were just awful.
Just realized, I'm pretty sure Lizzie Stride is named in reference to one of Jack the Ripper's victims, Elizabeth Stride.
I'm proud to say that I'm one of the 0.90% of dishonored players on steam that have the headhunter achievement.

The kill’s you got during the dlc is cause the no matter how someone dies in dishonored the counts it as you killing them for some reason

You should try and get the platinum trophy for Titan fall 2, it's fun but some trophy's are much harder then others

So you spent like _15 hours_ on just the Trials achievements alone, OOF. Could play through chrono trigger in that time. Also the missions looked really fun; if the achievements were done a little smarter it'd be great. I think I remember my older brother trying the headhunter one on console when I was little lol. Let's just say I really didn't feel like watching it after just a few minutes.
I finally got 100% on KoD today after never getting past mission 2. Surprisingly, the arc mine on the rat was easy...
...It was trying to stop 2 overseers from glitching through a wall. THAT was the hardest. Outsider, give me strength to take on the Brigmore Witches.
