If anyone sees this video and is having a bad time with the Dunwall City Trails achievements, here's some tips: - Go to the Menu and set your difficulty to Easy, it changes how enemies behave and how much damage you take. This will really come in handy in the Oil Drop challenge. - For Headhunter achievement, there is a glitch in the final room where you don't have to kill the last wave of guards. As soon as you get in, blink in the bookshelf that is on the left of the escape door. You will clip right through it and complete the level. - For By My Hand Alone achievement, use Bend Time at the beginning of every wave after wave 6. Prioritize killing weepers and dogs, as they are very weak and are more likely to be killed by other enemies. When you reach the waves that the Tallboys appear, use Bend Time AS SOON as they spawn, jump up to them and put a springrazor on their body, it will kill them instantly. - Also as a bonus tip for the last achievement TheSonOfJazzy got, ''Enough Coin to Disappear'', you don't need to finish the game with low chaos. The achievement will pop if you finish the game in high chaos, as long as you have 10k coins with you. Hope this helps someone 😁
Thank you so fucking incredibly much. I was losing my mind with headhunter and the stupid hitboxes. The last part was what almost always ruined the run for me.
"By my hand alone" was so annoying that i used a mana refill mod for unlimited mana and spam bend time once i got it. Even then it took two attempts to even get there with the enemy rng of killing eachother.
6 months later, I know, but I have to contest your claim that changing the game difficulty changes the enemy behavior and damage; I have swapped down from Very Hard to Easy and I have not noticed any sort of change whatsoever. Unless the game decided to arbitrarily bump me back up to very hard (...which I wouldn't rule out...), I do not believe this is actually true. edit: ...though admittedly I've only done the headhunter mission so far.
@@RDBcheckoutslackjaw's goons were driving me mad, that freakign bottle throw one shots dogs and even regular guards and they use it as soon as they spawn
Very surprised with the size of this channel. The presentation is top-notch and the commentary is entertaining and informative. Hope to see you blowup.
I’m surprised there wasn’t a sarcastic achievement for killing the empress in the dunwell trials cause that shot of the entire rooms looks are just priceless
I've done this achievement run. It was the first game I really tried to get the achievements for and it got me hooked on achievement running. The dunwall trials nearly drove me insane but still as a whole the game was a lot of fun to 100%.
I used to trophy hunt but Dunwall Trials broke me and made me hate dishonored, which is a shame because the rest of the game was decent. I hope whoever made that dlc has to step on lego bricks for the rest of their life.
@@EresirThe1st yea I tried the trophy hunt last week and I fucking hate this game right now. I used to love this game with its well designed stealth mechanics and this dlc basically exposed all the other bad designed mechanics
Just saw this pop up in my recommended, decided to click- This is really well made, and I definitely would've guessed you had more than fifty times your subscribers if I'd watched this blindly, at least. Absolutely amazingly written and laid out! Absolutely earned my subscription.
If you can find all the scout witches and choke them out before inserting the coil in the mission "The Dead Eels", they will not attack the crew at the end and you can remain silent, with no one dying.
I have recently played through all the Dishonored games again (it's a yearly thing really). I played like one or two of the trials when that DLC released back when it came out, and decided I am never doing another one of these. They just weren't fun, and seeing your issues with them (and being RNG-tied, didn't know that!) glad I never bothered. Forget the dopamine dose for getting that achievement, not gonna happen. The Knife of Dunwall / Brigmore Witches are some of the best parts of the Dishonored "lore building" environmental story telling. Such great stuff.
The algorithm lords have chosen you, rejoice! Glad to see you gave Dishonored a go, it's one of my top favourite games of all time despite its flaws. Hope to see many more games you might have missed. Space Marine has always been one of my favourites too, I forget if it has a fun achievement run though.
Great video! I'm surprised you didn't talk more about "three-staring" the difficult modes of the Dunwall City Trials. Bonfires especially broke me and in the end, I decided to use the reload glitch where the enemies don't spawn, just to save the remains of my sanity. So far, Dishonored on 100% is definitely my proudest accomplishment right after Deus Ex: Human Revolution (but that was much more enjoyable).
Saw your Dishonored video. Bought the game with DLCs and almost got all the achievements (the only 3 I'm missing are Bonefires on expert, Void Star and Enough Coin to Disappear, but I think I can do that). Thank you for the inspiration. Great channel and you are very talented! Keep up your great work! Update: Done! And now... Dishonored 2
I loved your first Dishonored Achievements video, and couldn't wait for you to try the DLCs... It's good to know I wasn't the only one tearing my hair out on the Dunwall City Trials Achievements, they really are simple but so insane in practice. As for the Enough coin to disappear achievement, I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. I went in knowing it's a thing so I hit multiple birds with a single stone and went Pacifist & Ghost in Knife of Dunwall, imported it and finished with 10018 or so coins with great stealth upgrades. Skipped out on some useless favors. I actually saved up remedies so I pretty much time stopped the entirety of the last level, Delilah didn't even know what caught her. And the fact you don't have as many views on this channel as I expected your videos to have really baffles me!
Bro, I can't really tell you how much Dunwall City trials drained my soul, I miss like 2-3 achievements to have the platinum, all of them from this sadistic dlc, and I'm from console, so good luck to me. Great content, even with the subtitles, really good work
Just finished watching all three dishonored achievement videos. You're definitely on your way to the top if you keep this presentation style and consistency. Keep it up!
Wow your videos are amazing and I actually had thought that this was an older channel with how well you make your videos. I went to look for more videos and saw you’ve only just started uploading. Keep it up! Looking forward to more videos.
I really enjoyed both the base game and these DLCs. I actually wish we got more of Daud. I’d love to play a prequel of him forming the Whalers and getting the Mark. I love in the base game how people react differently to different Chaos levels. Doing a Ghost/Shadow run is difficult but super satisfying. You need way more subscribers! the quality of this shit is so high, like i just assumed you were huge when I saw your resident evil video, you definitely deserve a big following considering the sheer quality of these videos.
Excellent video! I just finished the Dunwall City Trials on the Xbox 360 recently and then happened to find this. The Headhunter achievement was one of the most frustrating, stressful achievements I've ever completed. By the time I was down to one enemy left my hands were shaking so much I had to pause and wait fifteen minutes before attempting to take the shot.
Fun fact, the dunwall city trials have so many glitches that make them easier. The headshots are only tracked by making sure your kills = headshots, so you can just clip to the end of the trial through the walls, and get it easy. I found out after doing it on console. Bonfires has this weird quirk to how the blinks interact with the walls in very specific locations allowing to to partially run on walls for a few moments, which in a few places trick the game into thinking you did tricky jumps. My hand alone is still a pain, but it's much easier when you know which specific places enemies can spawn, where to stand that causes them to aggro you first, and spring razors to cover problematic placements, but the best one by far is the oil tank when placed right will get knocked and blow up anybody near the problem areas when they run towards eachother. I knew none of this at the time. I seethe in hate forever now.
It's so fun to finally see someone learns to appreciate it by playing through every kind of playthrouh in the game I still replaying them as they are my favorite games
Excellent videos, high quality editing, funny and informative commentary, well structured from a narrative standpoint nice narrative rythm you should have way more subs! Complete your dishonored journey with Dishonored 2 and it’s standalone DLC “Death of the outsider” I wanted to do a 100% achievement run but I saw the dunwall city trials’ achievements and said “hell no” after watching your video I’ll definitely do it now. Also I’d love to see you complete Hollow Knight and all it’s achievements. You’ve earned a sub! Hope to see more videos soon!
Very well edited and presented, I am glad the mysterious algrothim decided to show me your channel. It makes me want to try the game out now, even though I know the whole plot now though lol. I would recommend Risk of Run for a 100% achievement run. It's a fairly short game, but loads of fun, and there is only really one achievement that is quite grindy.
God I remember the stair headshot taking a certain trick to do it consistently. But "By My Hand Alone" was the one that took the most time for me. The tiniest thing could die before you even got to it. Felt so satisfying to get it finally.
i subbed after your dishonored video, i had originally thought you were a huge channel that i was missing out on. to my surprise you only have 15k! you seem so experienced and professional, and your content is on the level of some with millions. love the content man!
You can take out the Witches before the fight breaks out if you search the wall along the docks; there's a small nook where they stay and plan their attack, and you can use Bend Time to non-lethal them with darts or stun mines, at your leisure.
I remember headhunter and daredevil and how much of a PAIN they were. I raged so hard but managed to get them in the end. I've got the platinum on every dishonored game and dlcs, and in my opinion the dunwall city trials (especially headhunter and daredevil) are the hardest achievements of them all.
Just wanna let you know that I randomly found your videos, decided to try Dishonored myself and yesterday after 70 hours of total playthrough I got my last achievement. Thanks for introducing me to this awesome game :D
As an achievement collector this channel is great :) Also worth noting at the time I got my score, I had the 13th highest score in the world on Back Alley Brawl lol died to the unbeatable raid boss, gravity
fun fact: you can complete knife of dunwall in high chaos and collect the coins as as long as you are a ghost in bridgemore witches, you'll get the enough coins to dissapear
While doing the ‘daredevil’ achievement I always had trouble with the first jump but the way you perform the jump in the video was much easier and I got it after a few tries .It took me 20 hrs just to get daredevil.Doing the ‘by my hand alone’ now
I'm currently on the Dunwall City Trials and ...I've never, ever seen myself so much driven to insanity so much about rinse and repeat as with this DLC. I think the worst one that broke me was the Time Massacre achievement (not failing any wave + bonus wave). Where a lot of the things I did exactly was told in the guide to do, still screwed up because of random shenanigans. I swear I wanted to throw myself out of the window after 2.5 hours of trying. Surprisingly the Assassin's Run one went fairly smooth after watching a video guide, telling you exactly what to do. because for a FACT, the dude that walks the stairs actually becomes stuck around 7 minutes of waiting........i would've never known this if it wasn't for the guide I watched.
So fun fact: you don't start Brigmore Witches with 3,000 (plus the 500 in your hideout) if you import your game. Instead you start with however much coin you had at the end of The Knife of Dunwall. Watching your video taught me about the 3,000 coins because I always imported my previous save. Also fun fact: You can avoid the witches spawning after you put the engine coil back if you eliminate (knock out) all of the witches in the sewer (6 total, the "damsel", the one talking to the statue of Delilah, the two outside the room where you found the damsel, and the two in the control room). I usually use an upgraded stun mine on the two outside the damsel room (as I'm going to call it) before I go into that room. Hit the damsel with a sleep dart, choke out the one talking to Delilah, then time stop and hit the last two with sleep darts. Different strategies depending on your goal. I rock stealth. You can get high chaos while being stealthy.
If anyone is doing the head hunter achievement, there is a glitch at the end of the level that allows you to skip the final room. As soon as you run in, blink on top of the bookshelf on the far wall next to the exit door, look at the exit door and lean to the left, you'll clip your head out of bounds, now just blink towards the back of the exit door and you'll finish the level netting you the achievement. Also, for the "Enough coin to disappear" achievement it doesn't actually need to be in low chaos for it to pop. It says it does, but i guess it's a bug.
Dunwall City Trials achievements are the hardest one but I've beaten this games with all achievements with pleasure in 2018 on my Xbox One :) Still want to replay campaigns of this masterpiece again)
i can remember these achievements.................... by my hand alone was such a pain in the arse to get in this broken ass DLC. still glad i got em all though.
Great video! Definitely subscribing! Can you play any of the other Arkane games? Dark Messiah is a ton of fun being able to kick monsters into spikes and making them slip off cliffs with ice magic!
Dishonored and Skyrim are the first two games I ever 100% completed and the rage I'd feel going through a whole level scouring for every clue only to get to the end to realise someone I knocked unconcious was eaten by rats or fell like down a single step and died making it my kill Made me realise the difference in achievements between like "buy a plot of land and build a house" to "make sure fucken everyone's unconcious bodies are off the ground"
Funnily enough, with how I play the game I got the cleaner hands and enough gold to disappear achievements on my first run. I'm unsure about if I have *cleanest* hands, but I'll take the W considering you said it's a slog to earn!
Do you have another channel? I am going through all of your videos now and they are so well made it’s insane to believe that you don’t have at least 100k subs. You deserve it and it will come rapidly with your quality.
In the Captain of Industry level, you can achieve the no killing by blowing up the factory. You just have to take all the enemies you knock out away from walls and pipes.
I'll be honest - and this isn't an insult to the DbD community, but this kind of content is leagues more appealing than just the one game. It shows an in-depth pursuit into multiple titles and genres, as opposed to combing through one game with only one game mode. Love to see more of this!
Dam I just finished dishonoured 2 thinking I’m really good and then I see this man doing the most bat shit crazy shit for a achievement 😂 good work keep it ups👍
The dunwall city trails achievements are definitely pain in the arse. They are literally as ridiculous as high score achievement spitfire game in bioshock 2 dlc.
I was so hyped to continue with this games DLC and achievement grind but honestly I STOPPED after the Daredevil achievement cos I did not have the mental stability to continue. Daredevil still remains as one of my rarest achievements to this day.
I can't believe I 100% this game on Steam back in the day, I like to display my rarest achievements on my profile and the only ones that show are those from the Trials. I completely understand why less than 1% of players got the Void Star and Headhunter achievements.
As someone who ground out the 100% achievements, seeing someone else driven insane by the Trials DLC was cathartic
Mullen wtf are you doing here
wth is cathartic
@Daniel Kiik It'd like a mixture of satisfaction and relief
Absolutely. I've done the 100% years ago but Dunwall trials still haunts me.

You my sir have gained yourself a sub great content
I wasted a PS3 controller going for these dlc trophies. Felt so relieved after getting those
Y-y-you could jump on the train?!?!😵💫
If anyone is doing the head hunter achievement, there is a glitch at the end of the level that allows you to skip the final room. As soon as you run in, blink on top of the bookshelf on the far wall next to the exit door, look at the exit door and lean to the left, you'll clip your head out of bounds, now just blink towards the back of the exit door and you'll finish the level netting you the achievement.
Also, for the "Enough coin to disappear" achievement it doesn't actually need to be in low chaos for it to pop. It says it does, but i guess it's a bug.
Where was you two weeks ago!? 😂
@@thesonofjazzy_ Getting counseling for my PTSD from the stair guy
Yeah that glitch some useless because you have to face "Eternal Stairs B*tch" first :v
respect for completing these, i did not have the patience to do it
Really impressive commentary!
Dunwall City Trials achievements are the hardest one but I've beaten this games with all achievements with pleasure in 2018 on my Xbox One :)
Still want to replay campaigns of this masterpiece again)
i can remember these achievements.................... by my hand alone was such a pain in the arse to get in this broken ass DLC. still glad i got em all though.
Really appreciate the hard work you put into these videos man. ❤❤❤
I'd love to see you go for all the Batman: Arkham Knight achievements. It took me 130 hours of torture lmao
@LordiValimartti yeah I’ve heard a lot of people have some issues with the achievements not popping, sucks
well you earned a sub. looking forward to seeing what you do.
The algorithm just picked you up bro. I'm calling it here and now
Im happy to be a early subscriber before your channel explode!
Why do you only have 600 subscribers? The video quality is excellent, you should be in the 100,000s at least
Just makes me want to play Bioshock. Really reminiscent ;)
Ah yes. More dishonored content. Thank you, 我的朋友, thank you.
Congrats on doing the Dunwall trials!
Great video! Definitely subscribing! Can you play any of the other Arkane games? Dark Messiah is a ton of fun being able to kick monsters into spikes and making them slip off cliffs with ice magic!
Dishonored and Skyrim are the first two games I ever 100% completed and the rage I'd feel going through a whole level scouring for every clue only to get to the end to realise someone I knocked unconcious was eaten by rats or fell like down a single step and died making it my kill Made me realise the difference in achievements between like "buy a plot of land and build a house" to "make sure fucken everyone's unconcious bodies are off the ground"
this is awesome im so ready for you to play DOTO andd get the achievemnts i got most of them and had so much fun with it mainly in new game +
To this day, I still can't beat the train...
Come on man, that's the easiest one
You know that you need to 100% Dishonored 2 now.
Dishonored 2 now surely? I loved that series
Will you also do Dishonored 2? I've always loved the series but I just find trying to complete everything extremely hard on console
Dysmantle is one of my favourite games that I recently 100%'d, would be great to see how you tackle it too :)
Dam I just finished dishonoured 2 thinking I’m really good and then I see this man doing the most bat shit crazy shit for a achievement 😂 good work keep it ups👍
Dishonored is one of the greatest game series ever made in my opinion.
I got all of the achievements on this DLC on the Xbox. The Daredevil one almost drove me insane and was by the hardest purely because of the RNG!
I can't believe I 100% this game on Steam back in the day, I like to display my rarest achievements on my profile and the only ones that show are those from the Trials. I completely understand why less than 1% of players got the Void Star and Headhunter achievements.
