Fun fact- the shifting mansion doesn't use any video game tricks like unloading walls that currently aren't being used. You could actually build that house in real life, theoretically.
im pretty sure the devs said somewhere but i cant remember where exactly that they cheat one time early on for one of the skylights but that's it and it isn't anywhere close to being the most impressive part of the mansion anyways

4:38 i love how in these games not only do you get to pick between "good" and "evil", but doing the good thing is actually more difficult than being evil and just crossbow sniping every single guard in the level with shadow kill. it ties the gameplay with the story and themes in a way that makes it so this story could only ever exist as a game. its not like the last of us where if you take out all the gameplay and just show the cutscenes you can get an entire hbo show out of it, every minute of gameplay adds to the story
Holy hell, this was a fun surprise. Really interesting to re-watch the early stuff again, as it just shows how different it was - still great though! I've been here for a year, maybe a little less and honestly it has been an honour and a true pleasure to see your change and growth. Can't wait to see where you'll be in another year or so. It's been so sick to see just how much Jazzy has grown since then. Still missing the stupid Bonfires achievement though and I'm frustrated seeing 79/80 achievements. Still one of my favourite games of all time though and terribly underrated

I don't know if this was already said: DOTO was originally meant to be a DLC for Dishonored 2. But when Dishonored 2 sold less than was hoped, it was decided to release DOTO as a standalone so that also those who did not get Dishonored 2 could still buy it.
my favorite part of the first game still is how you spare the man who killed the impress you take the money off him giving him the fact that you were close enough to take his life to end him in one motion without him even seeing you sneak up that is whats amazing to me sending the message it doesnt matter what you hide behind i can and will get to you
I always felt like DOTO not having a chaos system made a sort of sense being that Billie is the protagonist. She’s not a diplomat or political figure like Corvo and Emily, she’s an assassin and has always been. It’s also been speculated that her talking to the rats as opposed to possessing them is a signifier of her place as part of the underworld, working alongside the chaos as opposed to working to quell it.
Such an amazing series, though I'm still disappointed with how little there was going on in Death of the Outsider. Fingers crossed for a Dishonored 3 one day!

this is how companies should review games rather than playing and reviewing they should aim to 100% it then they can write a honest review. plus a review on how hard the achievements/trophies are and it means even if its a game someones played and hated if they see a appealing review it will make them jump back to it, like me with the original release of dishonoured it was on sale my pal gifted it and i loved it even though i spent like 1-2 hrs on the xbox version and wasnt too impressed
my favorite way to play dishonored is ghost on high chaos, rat swarm is especially overpowered and shadow kill is basically made for this play style, would recommend it's super fun!

I don't know if anyone said in the first video, but for that Lady Boyle party level, the game creators agreed that giving an unconscious woman to her stalker is a little wrong, so in the books you learn that after they lived together for a while, the guy mysteriously disappeared one day, and that Boyle spent the rest of her life in comfort in his secluded mansion. Edit: again, don't know if someone said this in the first video, but in Dishonored 2 the reason all of the witches were knocked out after you got Breanna was because they get their powers from her. People marked by the Outsider can share their powers with others, but like a chain or with vampires if you take one out you take out everyone below them.

I had the 1000g on both xbox one and 360, so I decided to play the game on the pc. The game was easy, finish the 1000 in 16 hours, but boy... The dunwall city trials. I wasn't prepared at all for this. By my hand alone took me more then 8 hours. Daredevil more 4 or 6 hours... I just finished the DLC and Im gonna do a pause to start the other two, Im broken know lol
maybe The Long Dark ? it's very good survival game i have lot of fun ulnocking all achievements ;) and olso with Uncharted 4, Crash bandicoot n sane trilogy, Days gone, All mafia games
You aren't doing baked-in subtitles anymore? It was one thing that separated you from the rest of the creators... I hate relying on TH-cam captions because they are based on sounds when you are speaking, It is not 100% accurate.... Baked-in subtitles of yours were loads better and it has personality. Sad to see it abandoned.
Found it in his community tab. It's too much work. Updating TH-cam subtitles is much less work. Than typing every spoken word by himself allowing him to produce videos much faster.

I love that i was never attacked by the witches on the coil mission because you can find where they are hiding nearby and take them all out

Death of the outsider definitely feels like the sequel to the dishonored 1 dlc rather than 2, i hope we get anything relating to dishonored again
Dishonored has one the best achievement grinds to do, it was the game that led me to start grinding achivements

Technically we have gotten a continuation of the series as Deathloop is apparently set in the same universe just like some 40 years later or so.
