LEGENDARY ANTONELLA RUGGIERO 💟💯❤️💯💟💯❤️💯💟💯❤️
It is a love song, but not towards a person, but towards a city, Rome!!
Wow, thanks for sharing this
It's a love song about her city (Rome) covered in mud after the rain. She has fallen out of love with the city. She's describing the Italian terraces and rooftops and the Tevere river, the fragrance of the city, the smell of the coffee, the fact that there are no more 'bells' in the country, and the fact that the dolce vita is no longer there and has faded.
Oh dear! Bless you. Thanks for watching 😊
A band we italians are proud of. ! Now you know this band, listen to their first hit " Cavallo Bianco "
I'm sure you'll love it !
Viva sempre l'Italia
This song is a melancholic hommage to Rome; the title is a reference to the homonymous film with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn, but in the lyrics are also mentioned "La Dolce Vita", a film directed by Federico Fellini with Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg, and many places in Rome ("il Corso", "il Lungotevere").
The message of love is towards Rome and the beauties of the city. The style of the song is rètro (vintage) similar to 1920. The group Matia Bazar interpreted different styles masterfully, I would recommend you listen to "C'è tutto un mondo intorno"
Thanks for watching 😊
viva italia
I would like to know the lyrics of the song.
She sang so good
Me too o
Rome, where are you? You were with me
Today you're a prison, I'm a prisoner
Rome, ancient city
Now old reality
You don't notice me
And you don't know
How much I pity you
But the sky's raining down on the city
You, with your heart in the mud
Gold and silver, and tea houses
City without any more bells
Then, "dolce vita" going
Along the merry "Lungotevere"
Viola concerts and frivolousness
Your smell of Roman holidays
~ ~ ~
Beautiful Rome, you, your Muses
Shiny asphalt, "Arrivederci Roma"
A little coin and there you go
Some come back and some go away
You do your part
But you don't know
How much pain you give me
A vain Greta Garbo
with your heart in the mud
Gold and silver, and tea houses
City without any more bells
Then dolce vita going
Upon the terraces of the Avenue
"Merry Widow", maîtresse of the cafes
Your smell of Roman holidays
Roman Holiday = vacanze romane
Talk about a city Rome how was in 1930, another period.
