    I don't do a lot of commenting or, necessarily 'liking', but I have to say that watching this was very very satisfying. Thanks both to Zed and to Yoav.

    Thanks guys. Another great video ! I was lucky enough to attend Yoav’s course in Denmark last year and learned a lot from that, but also from this film. If Yoav is willing to share, it would be very helpful (as well as fun) to see how he forges the tools. Cheers ! Lasse

    I love wooden bowls, spoons, cups etc. Do they retain bacteria easily. I live in a van conversion full time and water is a luxury; available but I don’t waiste. I clean my spoons in a tad of boiling fresh water and allow to try in the sun. Might u have any suggestions. I’d love to only use wood kitchen implements but I do have a concern about the difficulty of cleaning. Anything wisdom u have on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work. Love your videos. MaryAnn, Los Gatos , CA USA🤓

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi MaryAnn a real pleasure to hear from you, in short woodenware is very clean and safe to use. You typically don't use detergant to wash them and as long as you dry them properly after every wash you will totally fine ~Peace~

    You might try walnut oil instead. It also polymerizes at room temperature and is more palatable.

    Amazing work. Do people make end grain bowls?

    • @boooshes
      @boooshes 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they certainly do.

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do yes but it's mainly cups and mugs they make with it as due to the smaller diameter you need the srength from end gain ~Peace~

    ...you can see it is very difficult to cut end grain... No, No we can't. Razor sharp tools, skilled hands, it looks easy on film. I suspect maybe CGI?

    Another really informative and well done video, Zed! I minor observation though, not a critique per se just a suggestion, I've noticed the hair is turning quiet gray, I believe yall spell it grey in the UK, and perhaps you should give Just for Men a thought? LOL. Still waiting for the Made By Zed line of handcrafted wooden dinnerware products also!!! Keep the videos coming Zed!
