If you turn off battery optimizations for the fingerprint app, for all Samsung phones that use the ultrasonic scanner, the scan time is reduced by a lot.

Use "Sound Assistant" (from the Galaxy store) to move the volume slider to the side of the phone, similar to stock Android.

Open the Sound Assistant app, click the 3 dots in the top right corner, tap "About SoundAssisntant"
Make sure your on version 3.3.08 or newer.
Once you've done that, go back and tap "Volume panel theme" and change it to "sero"

Ehh, this is amateur level when it comes to making One UI more like Stock Android. There's so many other things you can do like ADB bloatware removal, sideloading other Google applications you can't get in the play store like the phone dialer, changing the notification shade to look more like the stock version, etc. By the time I finally traded in my Galaxy S9 for a Pixel 4 XL, that phone was so ridiculously close to Stock Android that moving onto the Pixel was the smoothest transition on the planet.
The best part about all I did though: I never had to root the phone or anything.

What I always do is to speed up the animations by going into:
1: System --> Developer options --> Window animation scale
2: System --> Developer options --> Transition scale
3: System --> Developer options --> duration scale
and setting these to 0.5.

I use the S20+ since day one: What I found quiet useful are the Bixby Routines. For example, I set it up so that when I leave the house, my wifi and the always on display get's disabled, therefore my bluetooth get's enabled. vice versa when I get home. Also I have a routine for the time I am asleep (11 pm to 7am): all my notifications are silent. The only thing i miss in the Bixby routines is to change the frequency of the display.
But overall, from what I have seen, you Marques have almost the same settings as me.
Hey I change the frequency of the display by activating medium power saver when I go to work. I use that to optimise battery life for unknown work day lengths 👍👌

Google's assistant also has automations, I haven't messed with it much because I use MacroDroid (have used IFTTT, Android Automate, and Integromat, this seems the best), but I know the capability is there.

One Hand Operation+, Sound Assistent and Good Lock are my go to Apps on Samsung devices. They're are directly from Samsung but not pre installed. Making things much easier.

I can recommend Sound Assistant in the Galaxy App Store it makes the sound controlle like windows so u can change volume separatly like Spotify louder than Clash of Clans.
You can also control the increment of the volume slider and put the controls on the side rather than the top
I like using it to set different apps in the background at different volumes too. There's a new feature that lets you add one app to play at the same time as your music so you don't have to deal with music pausing
Watching this video i realized how much i miss this custom settings on my iphone, ou boy good old android
just install Samsungs One Hand Operation+ from the play store, then you can use the gestures you want with any launcher, highly recommended as there is other good options to navigate on big screens.
Gestures work using different app but sadly Android 10 gesture animations don't. Which is why it feels off.
@@shivamdharni3673 you can get the Android 10 gestures except for the swipe up and hold for multitask but I don't like it that way anyway, with OHO+ the options are way better, you keep the stock Samsung gestures with back - home - multitask with one swipes but can still get the "go back" from the sides and still have the options for other gestures as well, I do have back when I swipe from the sides, multitask when I swipe up from the sides and when I swipe down from the sides the content of the screen goes down to the half of the screen if you want to reach something that's at the top of the screen, much better than Android 10 gestures IMO, using this on both my S20 and Z Flip. :)
I do agree. I am using the Z flip and quite happy with the stock but i cant help to install the lawnchair. So i re-installed the One Hand Operation+. Its a great app and it works as good as the stock's gesture

Mann... I’ve been watching Marques since he was at like 1 mil, I just stumbled upon him and gave him a sub because his video genuinely helped... flash a couple years later and he’s now in a new amazing studio and at 10 mil it’s insane and he deserves all of it.

On any Samsung with One Ui 2.0 go to settings, look screen, all the way down to shortcuts, enable it, click on right or left side, and select flash light.
You will be able to turn On the flash light even without seeing your phone with two easy steps.

Sound assistant app:
•Pops up every time you change volume
•equalizer in every app
•you can set up a custom sound setting for different apps
What pisses me off in sound assistant is that it doesn't automatically change equalizer according to decide connected unlike Samsung music

Edge lighting. Good feature to have on when you get a notification the edges light up. Looks really cool.
