This is the first time the 13 Flamechasers have ever fought together. That's why Sakura said it was something that has never been seen before.
Also its the first herrscher that had human control, hence Herrscher of Humanity and it likely leads to the other Herrscher revolts against the fate of Honkai/Imaginary space and Quanta wars.

The scene in the post-credit showed the normal lives of 13 before they become Flame-chasers. Except for Eden's tho because it is basically her death scene; her one last song before Herrscher of the End ended the Previous Era.
It also shows Aponia and how she became one with ER
It could be that or she's just singing for peoples that dead there for their sacrifice since we know that war against the honkai has already started even before eden become flamechaser. She said once she had everything then honkai rob everything from her.

@@henrytierestia8317 It was her last song before the end, Mobius was also relatively nearby and could hear her singing in the distance, while Aponia put what was left of Humanity on a mass illusion so they could at least die in happiness.
The Elysian Realm wasn’t a Herrscher the entire time, the Herrscher of Corruption piggybacked into the Realm with Mei, and yes Elysia killed the HoC by deleting the entire realm.

The Elysian Realm began with Elysia, and it ended with Elysia.
The fight is in Present Day, in the Elysian Realm against the brand-new Herrscher of Corruption, who inflitrated/(was born in?) the Realm. It seems to be a Virus and it desires to infect the entire world.
Elysia was a Herrscher in the Previous Era, this is her digital copy fighting (I assume the original is dead)
I find the overall concept of the Video very similar to Digimon in general and the Omni-/Omegamon-debute movie in particular.
The "Visitor" is how she refers to Mei. Who is also the only one in the Realm with a living body.
I disagree on "Because they failed", the 13 Flammechaser died, yes. But if humanity wins against the Honkai in the new Era, then they succeded.
Moebuis's ability is to revive, but it reduces her age every time. So she used to be an Adult. Then got killed a bunch of times.

Could someone explain me A LITTLE about the story behind this Animation? I didn't play this game, but it is interesting to see how many details are there here.

The Honkai is like a force of nature that manifests to 'balance' humanity whenever it becomes too advanced -- unfortunately by eliminating it. The Honkai often also choose someone from among humanity who has lost hope to become a Herrscher (German for Leader or Ruler). Each subsequent Herrscher is more powerful than the previous one, starting with Reason and ending with the End. The Honkai even succeeded in the Previous Era 50,000 years before the start of the game. But not without humanity fighting back.
The biggest organization to resist the Honkai was the Firemoth Organization, which embarked on many scientific experiments. This included using weapons powered by Honkai energy, same as the Honkai beasts that manifest in the world, stigmata to resist corruption while being compatible with Honkai energy to actually use it, and battlesuits. The Firemoth created massively augmented soldiers to fight the Honkai, and Elysia decided to try to assemble a group of the most powerful soldiers into a team, the Flame-Chasers. Problem was their personalities and quirks left no room for teamwork, so they usually fought in pairs at most, but usually on their own. For every Herrscher defeated, the lost at least one Flame-Chaser. Until finally only Kevin was left to face the Herrscher of the End.
One of the Herrschers to do a major amount of damage to the Previous Era's humanity was the Herrscher of Corruption, who could infect anything with a logic system, living or computerized. She launched the Firemoth's entire arsenal of nuclear weapons, destroying all of the remaining major cities, but Dr. Mei managed to trap her. The HoC would later infect another person, trapping her inside an endless loop of suffering so she could take over her body and escape to infect the world. Depending on whether you're reading the manga or playing the game, this is stopped by Theresa or Kiana, and the HoC transforms into a sword, called _Jizo Mitama_ . This is because one of Dr. MEI's projects was to turn the cores of defeated Herrschers into weapons called Divine Keys, and VILL-V, the con artist, helped to make them.
But Dr. MEI, who led most of the scientific efforts, sent a bunch of tech and knowledge, together with Kevin and a test tube baby, into the far future to help humanity re-emerge and advance quickly. One of the things they created with their advanced technology was the Golden Courtyard, later renamed as the Elysian Realm. It contains the memories and information of all thirteen Flame-Chasers, but it is in the hands of the World Serpent, an organization whose goal is to purge all Honkai regardless of the cost.
One of the player characters, Raiden Mei (not to be confused with Dr. MEI or Raiden Ei) joins the World Serpent, and when she has questions for Kevin, he sends her to the Elysian Realm to get her answers. This is when she meets the simulations of the Flame-Chasers and learns about their pasts. Mei's sword is _Jizo Mitama_ , or made from it, so her being in the Elysian Realm with it allows the HoC to wake up and corrupt the system, which puts all the sims in danger and prevents Mei from leaving. Worse yet, HoC can apparently permanently delete the sims' data, with no ability for them to restore -- and the first to go is Elysia. Although clearly death doesn't stick very well, at least with this sim.
Also, one of the stories in the Elysian Realm starts with the revelation Elysia was a Herrscher, although it does not reveal of what, how she became a Herrscher, or why she sided with humanity when none of the Herrschers of the Previous Era did.
To be fair, I don't think the Herrscher of Corruption wanted to infect the entire world per say, it just really wanted to live and was really afraid of dying. Which makes everything worse because there could have been a world where if things went slightly differently that the Herrscher of Corruption could have existed alongside the 13 flamechasers in the Elysian Realm because it waslegitimately angry at the flamechasers for being so willing to sacrifice themselves and treating their lives with so little care.
Like there COULD have been a reality where the Elysian realm was not destroyed and we had a blueish green version of Elysia alongside with the normal Elysia but because a few things goes wrong and now we have nothing.
Wasn't it Mei who brought the herrscher of corruption into the realm? :/

I don’t want to spoil, so as a Chinese player who had seen all the plot, all I can say is that this chapter might be the best of this game ever, and the plot really hurt my heart. Every one of us wanted to tell the author to be kind to those characters we love, which he didn’t.But at last, we have to admit that they really gave us a really good story.
I hope you can enjoy this story.
The 13 flame chasers, despite their inhumanities, might be the most human with their imperfections in the entire story so far. Thats why theyre so loved.
Ok so basically ely just use " KevinKiller 666 " - a code that will burn down all the data in Elysian Realm. Her susanoo that you saw is Technically a Bom that erase everything. Well this is not a reset button I assume. So this giant computer will be down for good.
Aponia used her binding power on Eden that said :" Never touch HoC " so she won't be affected by HoC in anymean. Eden used her Data to restored Elysia. So... Ely is a Troy's Horse that bring Eden inside HOC so she can restore every flamechaser - Mobius, Vill, Kalpas, Aponia... Using the 0,1 bit that has been breaked down by the virus.
Ely clearly can use Kevin 666 to end all of this. But she's an Artist, so everyone has to show up to share one last dance and farewell to us - the visitor.
I think this video really miss line from PV:

idk if anyone else has said this but wonderium is the animation studio that mihoyo has outsourced their cg work to since the very beginning with will of the herrscher. Mihoyo comes up with enviroment and character designs plus storyboarding and micromanages the hell out of wonderium to make sure its right but wonderium are the ones actually animating the things. think of it like mihoyo is the brains and wonderium is the brawn.

same...also Griseo with her Parents or Sakura with her Sister ....Honkai makes me cry no matter what
ER ended up having a much deeper impact to the main story than we ever thought it would have a year ago when it first started. I don’t think a year ago anyone anticipated what kind of emotional carnage the end of ER would cause - but that’s what makes this game so great.

the switch to late 80s early 90s CRT Style is just such a Nostalgia trip for me and i Love it. ER was so worth the Reading ive done and im happy with the ending the 13 got.....next up i hope is finaly Theresa and the Core/Stygma she got in the Manga because that is for me so interresting and i hate that it seems forgotten by the Story at the moment.

Honkai Impact 3rd Story is one of the best in gaming history
I don't know if anyone noticed this, but the aspect ratio was 4:3 for the entire first half to mimic a CRT monitor resolution to symbolize how Elysia was fighting under HoC's influence, after Elysia pulled out all the other Flame Chasers, aspect ration became 16:9 to symbolize she's overpowering HoC.
This is a fresh perspective 😂, i watched this after knowing ER have been taken over by HoC and Elysia is doomed to be gone regardless the result of the fight so i was sentimental since the beginning.
Not knowing its the last time we see Elysia made me see the fun and beauty of the fight scene.
Notice how it all perishes when the music reaches the climax. A simple device yet so impactful.

One of my favorite little things they did is at 7:41. When Ely attacks and causes an explosion, said explosion wipes out the side black bars and chases the Aspect Ratio from 4:3 back to 9: 16
HG did the same thing for my favorite Arknights Animation, Il Siracusano. My favorite character Lappland literally cuts through the side bars to change the aspect ratio. It’s so fun and creative.
If you're wondering about Wonderium, Wonderium is a Japanese Animation Studio.
They make CG animations for games but I think they make anime's too. Currently they're working with MiHoYo to make the animation Short.

For all of us who grow up watching animes in the 90s the nostalgia hit so damn hard. While this nostalgia may not be directly related to the plot, this feeling itself matches perfectly well to what Elysia might be feeling at that moment. A super clever way of exploiting synesthesia.

Me, first time watching: I don’t know the Flame Chasers all that well. Lets see if this makes me cry.
Me, the moment the vocals come in: *[reaches for tissues]* Why did I even consider it wouldn’t?
Also the way Eden and Mobius say “Ellie” and “Elysia” sent shivers down my back.
It really does a good job showing just how much they knew each other and how much time they spent together, both in the happy and sad moments, all of that simply in they way they call each other
The Big Elysia at the end was Kevin Killer MK666 btw, its VillV's invention to destroy the Elysian realm. Elysia used it and sacrificed the entire ER to prevent the Herrscher of Corruption from going to the outside world.
oh and one of the reasons they've mixed their 2d and 3d and also just made their 3d work so well is that when they send wonderium a thing to animate, wonderium will send it back and mihoyo will trace over it with their 2d artists and then send it back to wonderium until they get it as close to the 2d trace as they can. its one of their techniques they've done to make masterclass 3d character animations blended with 2d environments and effects, it makes for a buttery smooth motion most of the time and i cant get enough of it lol

Consider the real FC never managed to pool their power like this, it's actually possible that Sim Elysia even surpassed PE Elysia in that last moment.
Though HOC is also ultra powerful in an environment like Elysian Realm, as it has complete control of the data there. So being that powerful was necessary.
14:59 I made the decision to watch some cat vids on tiktok after watching the animation. It made me bawl harder. Pardo may be the weakest but she's the most endearing to me🥲 Hope she and Can are somewhere basking in the sun with the loots they snatched from VillV's workshop lol

Yes, this is the finale of the Elysian Realm, Hoyo needs to wrap up the side-stories first before they can proceed back with Kiana's story.
technically the animation spoiled all the flame chasers that are still alive (or should be) if you can understand what is showing
basically we have the 5 pulling her frommthe relm of the dead, then we have the 7 that she left behind as she go and end her journey
we have kevin and fuhua which we know is alive that means Su and Gresio should be alive, but the only part i'm not sure is sakura group because altough they suppose to be dead but from the captains bubble universe event we know that Sakura can be reincarnate and not to mention the ending where the elysium relm was absorb by sakura could mean sakura, pad, and kosma could be alive
captains bubble universe is not canon, so we don't know if it's true. But it's true that Sakura did reincarnate as herrscher of corruption in kallen's era and disappeared after giving Theresa the power of corruption(manga). Griseo was "sent of by a rocket by Kosma" and the enemy in APHO seems to be the same to Griseo "painted honkai", which have a chance to be made by Griseo from another place since the enemy came from outerspace. but Kosma died after saving Griseo, which means he's literally gone. Su might be in another bubble verse OR he's the one that Durandal met in her adventure which died after helping Durandal gain control over her battlesuit that hold the bubble universe.
For that scene, it might just be a coincidence since Pardo can't be alive in her condition(Weak at fighting and has no special ability except being a cat). and Mobius might still be alive since she can revive herself, and the Gray serpent only works for her and her alone.
Griseo hopefully alive yes, it said that Kosma put her in cyro that went to the moon with fua and the rest that survive while he stay to fight. SU well Dudu did meet him in another bubble universe. Mobious is a posibility she's immortal like fua but the more she "shed" the younger she become. Aponia is also a possibility dont know how thou and Elysia? Well she is the 13th herrsher even from the start. She was freaking born not in a womb but on a pink crystal. And she is the human ego and if you know evangelion ego can survive almost anything just need a vessel and she is the herrsher its her domain. But i could be wrong but then this is mihoyo its been pulling one after another on us.

The arc of Elysian realm is a master piece, they did everything right, can't wait to see this on global and wait for what is coming next for the main story

This is seriously one of the most brilliant pieces of animation I have seen from anybody, and this is from MiHoYo, who has had nothing but brilliant animations in the game. While it may not carry the same emotional weight as Final Lesson, Lament of the Fallen, Everlasting Flames, or Thus Spoke Apocalypse, it was an emotional in its own right in a sendoff for characters we’ve grown attached to over the last year.
At least Mei is now the Successor of the Flame Chasers. Then again Mei always has the ability to kill a herrsher. Poor Ana and Owl

No one tell Arier we already have a hint to WHOM it is from one of the side realities (specifically, APHO Parts 1 and 2), which first implied the death of Otto well before Chapter 27/"Thus Spoke Apocalypse"... I think he'll lose it more if he explores THAT!
Also, I cannot wait to find out his reaction to the second half of the Elysium Realm storyline... because that's a DOOZY.

well the herrscher was the herrscher of corruption and it was corrupting the elysian realm so to defeat it then they had an emergency like protocol and then that protocol is elysias herrscher of human to defeat it but that meant destroying the elysian realm itself

Didn't play the game to be sure, but the very end where everything is burnt, I just realised it might be because they didn't just erase the Elysian Realm digitally, but they literally overloaded/fried the hardware infrastructure that's supporting it all so there's no way to recover.
you know i was getting burned out and bored midway through the elysian realm trials, the story after mobius and about aponia, because i find it frustrating and boring to uncover what the hell aponia really wanted to do with mei and so i kinda became inactive in honkai for few months, before finally decided to catch up to ER because of these trailers, i kinda guessed what really happened about elysia's real identity and about the final herscher, i was still rushing the chapter 30-31 before the event ends in few days, now i felt sad and empty knowing ER is gone and only kevin and mei and raven knows about the realm, now that we get hooked to the 13th flame chasers we kinda wanted them alive and not dead, i did not expect to have my mind changed about them, at first you don't really care much about them but after knowing them so much you kinda wished that they did not die in the first civilization
Mihoyo make player love the people that already dead just to make them dead again so that player get more depression
All this happened because CE Kevin let Mei interact with kiana in Ch 28 and then Will of Honkai.

The original kaslana weapon in could be a divine weapon. Kevin wield it, Siegfrid wield it and we all know our lovable tuna keep one in her dimension pocket.
I think this animation is where we actually get to see Rin for the first time (and basically confirms that Higokumaru is Rin)

They were meant to be heroes, even if they didn't achieve it during their era, at the very least and the very best part they manage to end as heroes in the current era even if it's not the real them, they lived for the second chance and forever more in everyone's heart.

From what I've heard, her body was dead a long time ago, but her mind in the Elysian Realm was deleted with the entire realm.
U have't seen the version trailer at all have u? or did the Current elysian deep end storyline?
To keep it simple, The Herrcher of Corruption of the current era found its way to the Elysian realm, the rest u will have to play through.
And yes, its indeed a sendoff, still makes me tear up when i see that end.

Your right Honkai is about to end and they are wrapping up most of the characters. We know mei and bronya is still alive in apho but what about Kiana? They say she sealed the Honkai in the moon but is she still alive? I have my doubts because I think Kiana will make the ultimate sacrifice at the end and that will break us. nope elysian realm was not a herrscher the entire time; it was corrupted by a herrscher that sneaked in with HoT after she came back from the imaginary space during her " call" to Kiana it just corrupted the code of the Elysian realm and was irreperable the only way to kill it was to nuke all the Elysian Realm Data.
