So you went a half size down from your sneaker size?
Will it stretch a bit to make it worth sizing down?

I have very weird shaped feet so I went with my sneaker size of 13. I also went with their Rugged and Resilient leather, which is thicker than their normal leather and takes a bit longer to break in and stretch out. After about two weeks of breaking them in they are extremely comfy. I would say you should try out whatever size you think will fit best the first time around and if it doesn't work get in contact with their returns department to see if you can't switch them out for a better size.

@@ChancellorJohnsonActor Well if it's going to stretch I might try a size down like they recommend for a better fit in time. I just hope it actually stretches and dont end up with boots that are too small.

Do you find them to be actual matte black? In the website even tho they say matte black they look super shiny in comparison to the captains in matte black

Dude thanks for the review! I will however say that there are many levels between boots that are "well maintained with signs of wear" and "I don't give a crap what they look like", and the condition of yours are definitely veering towards the latter. Of course it's nice when boots look worn, I agree, but you also do have to give them some basic care and maintenance if you want them to keep looking good throughout the years. Judging from the condition of yours, you don't care for them particularly well.
