hi dave I think your videos are great for the shooting game in general and I look forward to seeing them.you should market them in DVDs.a true gentleman and sport from a viewer's point.keep them coming.
By far my favorite film in awhile !! Fantastic shooting and filming. Really like the variety of terrain that is covered in this one. Well done sir and I look forward to the next one !!!!
Fantastic video Dave and a great change in topography. Seeing high birds from big hill and mountainsides is fantastic and impressive but it's great to see you shooting a more regular shoot that so many more of us are familiar with. And great to see you on the duck too, my favourite eating game bird. Am sure that one duck you folded beautifully was almost wearing an oxygen mask. Stay safe and keep the great videos coming. Best Regards Matt
What a beautifully filmed piece of shooting. Top shooting is standard with these films but it really captures a fantastic days shooting. The shoot owner and keeper must be proud you did them justice. Well done.
Well done Dave, traditional Partridge shooting at its best. You were looking very dapper, which I like to see. An old Gamekeeper friend of mine always remarked you must dress smart to show respect for the quarry. I’m still waiting to see your logo on your shooting jackets, especially with your new loader sporting one as well. Looking forward to the next video.
Love ur videos dave could watch them all day, would love to go shooting with you some day I'd learn a thing r 2, in the mean time keep knocking them down and make more videos
You can keep the high pheasants, give me fast, flowing partridge following the contours of the terrain, sweeping in at high speed or bursting over beech hedges, heaven.
Hi Ian i have various stocks on my guns, but they all sit with the same configuration some like these are pistol grip and i will have them out just for a different feel, the adjustables are no longer adjustable - i glued them in position years ago😊

Great video. You will have to come to one of the driven shoots in Ireland soon.
DC - Almost converted to low bird shooting - Not ....Lol... Its good that you have covered shoots that don't always have the topography to accommodate high bird shooting and yet make for very good shoots
Dave, I am not shooting[retired to live in the sun].Tell me how they can keep so many ducks at that time of day? On my modest shoot I had a small lake and fed gain, got ducks, mallard, but they only returned near dark?
i asked the same question, the answer it seems was quite simple they never saw a human being from release day only a teleporter fed the grain without the man being seen and the same reason they fly so well, when they did see humans at the start of the season it was like seeing a fox and they were up and off, but they always returned
@@DaveCarrieShooting great video as usual Dave, what shells were you using on the duck drive? I have just bought a mk60 high pheasant and would just like some of your vast knowledge. chrs pete
Hi Peter, i doubt you would be able to use your MK60 for steel shot i have an old browning XTR 30" barrels that is steel proof with 1/2 and 1/2 chokes, i also have a set of barrels steel proofed that are 32" that i can fit to my miroku trap stocks if need be. i am not really set up for steel as this is my first full driven duck day, the cartridges that gamebore sent me were fine but i think the 32 4s might have been 3s and the 32 3s might have been 2s, they have a big overseas market for steel shot cartridges so it can get confusing with size of shot, i will check and see what i can dig up
@@DaveCarrieShooting thank you for your prompt reply Dave much apreciated , great advice look forward to more of your videos you are credit to our sport.

Thanks Fergus your comments are most appreciated
Some lovely kills at the duck David, what glorious day for it.
good Duck
Beautifully done; great to see the effectiveness of the steel shot at range too. Some of those partridge thought they had escaped - but not for long!
i was surprised at the steel shot, Gamebore have really got it right but No2 and 3 shot is what i would use
It has to have that downrange energy; I bet you tested it thoroughly; great stuff.
its the speed and larger pellet that does the job
Love ur videos dave could watch them all day, would love to go shooting with you some day I'd learn a thing r 2, in the mean time keep knocking them down and make more videos

Another superb film. How high were the duck..... They was on fire.
very high

Brilliant description Alan
Great shooting again David. When did you decide to go for adjustable stocks on the Mirokus?
Hi Ian
i have various stocks on my guns, but they all sit with the same configuration some like these are pistol grip and i will have them out just for a different feel, the adjustables are no longer adjustable - i glued them in position years ago😊

Maybe
Good video and a good Yorkshire man
Thankyou for your nice comments
You are just incredible! What diameter does your choke and chamber have? Also what kind of cartridges do you use? Thank you in advance.
full and full with 42gram 3s
Wonderful film
thanks
Great new video Dave, I will try and give this shoot a bash.
good man

Thanks Giles - you are right of course, every aspect of the countryside is entitled to a fair crack of the whip
The video, really doesn’t do worlaby justice for some of the topography it has to offer.

Thanks for that Dave, very interesting.
What miroku were you using I noticed it had a adjustable stock an amazing video as always
same as normal MK38/MK60 i have various stocks but all the same sight line

i wanna come out and shoot with you. i love the videos and have a passport. lol
very pleased that you enjoy the films, much more to come
🤛
Should have taken a 410 Dave would have been a nice bit of sport !
28 would be nice
Do you use 3/4 and 3/4 for game as well Dave?
i do and sometimes 3/4 full
Price km
Oh, oh, oh, David! It takes a great shot to shoot a .410. A 28 is far better. And, please, no more dodgy ducks! You are far beter than this!
Hi David
its all part of the countryside now and it would be unfair to not include certain parts of it, i know where you are coming from tho
That piano is really annoying
Cap on while eating indoors again !!!
sorry!!
