Alex, these 'combination' reviews - sea trial & walk-thru - continue to be among the best on TH-cam. Nicely done. And here's a guess: I'll bet when editing the video you were surprised to see the amount of movement from that fly bridge hard top. The supports look beefy enough but the large center opening makes their location an inevitable compromise.
You're absolutely spot on! I was genuinely surprised to see the movement in the hardtop when I got back to the office. Didn't feel or hear any vibration at the time but it will be interesting to see whether the guys at Prestige consider it an issue.
That is a beautiful yacht, I love all the colours and finishes and the layout works really well. Definitely going to be a favourite among customers. Great tour and sea trial Alex thank you.
Very nice. It's silly for a bathroom counter that small to have two sinks. I liked the cabinets in the galley. Extra storage is a good thing. I don't think the Prestige guy was thrilled with the criticism. LOL
Lovely boat, a premium boat that's practical in access ( engine room particularly) she designed with safety and style in mind. Well planned cockpit and bow area. Lovely cabins with clever use of positioning of beds, apart from the twin room it's not as spacious as the other two. When you put her into cruising across the sea, she performed very well. An owner driven boat, for family and friends. Like her despite the moves you pointed out. Once they are she'll do well on the market. .
I would really like to see more comparassions of different yachts in the same class, like for cars, I can't find such a thing. It would be great to see what yacht is better where
You headline the price as £1.2m but you really need to quote the price of the boat with the spec you are testing otherwise it gives a false impression, that said I would buy the Absolute 56 Fly over this boat at around the same base price.
To be honest the master forward / two master cabins thing Absolute are currently doing is tough to beat. Cleaning the constantly splahsed master forward outside windows would be a skewer down the Jap's eye though.
Agreed. The Absolute has a better designed flybridge, and the main salon seems more inviting. Images of the 56 are my screensaver to remind me of what to buy if I ever get money.
That you remind yourself of what you are fighting for, is honestly great… however, I think the original comment aimed a different message than complimenting the Absolute model. And with that actual message (at least if I get it rightly, I would totally agree. MBY and other presenters are quite inconsistent and not very thorough with the prizes they give; it would be more informative if one could see if the prize includes show spec as well as if it includes taxes. Makes a big difference! Greetings from Germany and hopefully God helps you to earn the money required for your dreams or even better guides you to what he thinks is best for your health and consciousness.
Prestige always lives up to,their name....and their price. You do get a lot of yacht for the money and like Galeon, a lot ok f thought goes into everything and the options you can come up with are always great too. Here in the US, it's hard to get these. They are mostly European or Australian orders which is ironic because I think they are South African. If you try to,get one of these through MarineMax here, you wind up getting them trying to sell you a Galeon, Carver, Aquila, Ocean Alexander, Oiter Reef...like just counter every time
I love the design and the way everything is set up in this boat but the finishes are unacceptable for that amount of money. The walls look like they’re made out of particle board as do the stairs and the walls looked like they added spackle to cover up cracks formed in transit. As much as this boat costs the finishes should be higher quality & I say that as someone that doesn’t particularly care for ultra luxury finishes like marble bathrooms or alcantara covered walls or ceilings which look horrible after a year.
excellent show. imo prestige interior is superior to the likes of princess or sunseeker. the division of space between galley and saloon is correct affording a much better proportioned ration and no compromise of the saloon space.

Terrific tour/drive, Alex. As thorough and illuminating as ever! Thanks for that

Another brilliant review Alex, thank you.
Impressive boat for the money. I’m sure it will tick a lot of boxes for a lot of people.

I don't think Prestige would welcome comparisons!
Great video. Question: is there a possibility for stern anchor???
Thats a crew Kennel!
So bad it's frightening! Also unusable as a day head due to the terrible access.
Nice boat and excellent value for the money….

Compare this to a Sirena 58... Which would you like?

Prestige is not a South African brand; they’re French and that’s where they’re still manufactured.
Third room looks like a guest in one of the other rooms for a shower. Other than that, it's a very nice boat.
I'm hoping there was one behind the door he just didn't show. Hard to imagine any other design.

I agree entirely. Prestige need to sack their caravan/naval interior designers and choose some people with aesthetic ability.

Hope the Seakeeper was off!!!
Flipping heck, thought the hard top was going to come off after all the wobbling (and it wasn’t rough or windy) . . . 🙏☀️🛥️👍🏼
