Being a South Sudanese is very regrettable sometimes! A bunch of students are suffering financial peril outside the country but the so-called national leaders (misleaders) are squandering money! Ateny Wek Ateny your administration has thwarted and you must shoulder the blame!

Thank you Hon Ateny Wek Ateny and Peter Biar Ajak for your responses. Those people of Sentry Organisation had planned to destroying our country by created misleading information and poorly report about the South Sudan its leaders. You should assist South Sudanese to have a good peace rather than escalating the war between South Sudanese. As your irresponsible report might be use by enemies of peace to cause more confusion, more deaths and destructions as a consequent of it. Now we only need a good peace, then anything else would be deal later according to the rule of law when peace has been successful in the country.

Paul, two wrongs do not make a right solution. Real South Sudanese are not willing to accept another problem than a peace at the moment. we have to focusing on one thing at while, I assumed you have read my comment above.

I absolutely agree that there is corruption in South Sudan but my major concern is how they are able to built mansions outside the country instead of constructing them in the country to aids development
May request to anyone planning to corrupt people's money please take them use them in the country to bring development and employment opportunities to your people

I could be remembering it wrong, but I believe it is Israel. You should google it. I know that Israel is seeking allies in Africa to counter Palestinian allies in the West and Middle East. I know they sell weapons to quite a few African countries. I believe I read a few weeks ago they sell to South Sudan

They do and are. I knew the answer I just put it out there to see if others are aware of what's going on. Israel manufactures weapons in Israel they actually have an industry, there is a semiAuto rifle that they manufacture and sell to these Sudanese. Do you happen to know the name of this rifle?

Just looked it up, Israel sells Galil ACE rifles. But the exact model doesn't matter, the bigger picture is that Israel has been using Africa as the stage to gain allies and fight proxy wars with Iran since the 1960s. I mean, when have proxy wars ever been an effective tool or a deterrent? It's just Israel and Iran (and every nation until a civil war breaks out and the EU bans weapon trades) selling weapons in bulk to unstable, corrupt nations. Honestly, it's incredibly disgusting that a handful of nations are preventing any progress in Africa by selling weapons in bulk and exploiting natural resources.

That's just the thing. The people buying the weapons are not "poor black Africans." They are Africans with money who then put these weapons into the hands of poor Africans to carry out their dirty work. That is why it is hilarious to me to hear these guys talk about how these elites are not that corrupt. For these leaders to be from a so called "poor country" where so many citizens have nothing yet the country is full of resources and your army/militia are sustaining a war ? These leaders are super corrupt.
But yes, I heard Isreal and even a company in Canada are (or were) selling weapons to South Sudan. Sad.

War is a buisness.... there is only three causes for war : Land, Power and Money.
PS: Religion and History is include in one or more of those 3....
