    As a note, Hisense doesn’t enable peak performance out of the two high-end HDMI 2.1 ports right out of the box. You do need to go through the settings and enable maximum bandwidth on those in order to get high resolution and high framerate

    I have the Hisense 65" and it's a phenomenal TV for that price. Better than my Bravia that I'm replacing that's 10 years old. Will eventually get a Bravia OLED. I'm so impressed that it reminds me of what LG used to be.

      @@AllAboutTKKno doubt. I'm not sure if you saw the Hisense had a software update that seems to have addressed some issues you had besides the off center viewing angle. I noticed it had considerably better interface menus and was easier to use than the TCL and a better performing game rig. Everyone is different but in my experience it's a better TV than the Q7

    If I wasn't into OLED tvs now I would probably buy a TCL QM8 Q7 or even a Q6 depending on my budget at the time. I have also would be looking at the Hisense models as well. I mentioned to you before I have 4 TCL tvs and my favorite is the R635 2020 model their first miniled. It has very minimal blooming and is a very bright tv. The Q7 I actually have nothing bad to say outside of it not being an OLED, for an LED, even though being full array, it is just a solid option that has held up. I must admit it’s sitting in my garage but that’s only because I don’t have space.

    Most AVR’s have video pass through option where no processing is done to video signal….So essentially direct path to display.

    • @AllAboutTKK
      @AllAboutTKK  ปีที่แล้ว

      You realize passing through still changes things though, right? For example if a panel has NVIDIA Gsync natively in its screen, passing through the AVR loses that on PC.
      Going directly to the panel is without any doubt optimal.
      Just like using 1 hdmi vs a capable coupler. Just because you can use a coupler that does 2.1 doesn’t mean you should do 2 6ft when you can do 1 12ft.

    If your strapped for cash you probably can't afford 2 gaming systems or 1 system and a gaming PC. A lot of people who cut cable tv might be interested in the 3.0 tuner on the H7K for local channels. The U7K has Bluetooth 5.2, 2 USB ports, WiFi 6E . As well as the 3.0 Next tuner Gen Tuner. But go ahead a pick the only feature Q7 has the HDMI to focus on. The U7K has many features that the Q7 doesn't that are part of connectivity.

    TK since you've been exploring budget brands, can honestly say the experience has been as good or close enough to LG, Samsung, or Sony? I was heavy into Plasma Tvs, and after they died out, I went back to budget tvs. I got my first oled last year and haven't looked back! I have a C1 77", and my next upgrade will probably be one of the top 3 brands. Honestly I rather spend the money and get the best. I know you're a huge Nvidia fan, and I love Amd! Amd gives me experience I'm looking for and want without being the best. Is it the same way with these budget brand tvs? An experience good enough without having to buy a G3, S95C, or A95l?

I’m currently using a 65” LG C2 and a 55” LG B6 from 2016. The B6 needs replaced only for the modern gaming features. @@AllAboutTKK which dude you don't gotta get so mad. I was just saying the u7k has a confusing interface as lots of external systems like a PS5 will hard reset the tv setting for higher fps and running at 120hz among other things. On the PS5 for example you have to physically go change save game data settings. Of course an oled looks better I'm just saying that the u7k was the first decent prices lcd I had seen that was 90 percent of the contrast of a similar priced oled. Not to mention a similar priced oled is only 60hz, not nearly as bright and has major input lag compared to the u7. The comparable priced oled is an lg a2. Weighing those drawbacks the u7k was the better tv for the price for me.
