    Thank you - I just clawed my way out of a sales tunnel of a video put out by The Futur... this is what TH-cam is for, democratisation of information and entertainment. You're the real deal! You're explaining this to me in a way more relatable than my university tutor... i felt so stupid in class when I couldn't "get it". I just needed the right person to explain it to me! I don't feel the shame anymore! I'm doing editorial based stuff now I've graduated and I feel like I'm in good hands!

      Thank you so much! The Futur is a great resource for designers. I've learned a ton from Chris Do, but sometimes it just takes a different person explaining it to make it make sense! I'm glad I could help you on your design journey. Stay tuned for more content!

    Hello! Thank you for the very informative video! I'm currently taking classes online at Full Sail University, and my instructor pinned your video for us students to watch. I'm taking my BAS in Graphic Design, and so far I am loving this fast paced course! I just subbed to your channel, as I find this content helpful. Looking forward to seeing some tips you have for upcoming graphic designers!

    Holyyyyyt sh*t. You just connected SOoo many dots for me within this 14 minute video I am completely mindblown… I’ve been self teaching for the last few months and thought I understood the basic principles of design but after watching this it’s clear I have a lot more to learn! Within the first 15 seconds all the way to the last 30 seconds, so many things were clicking in my brain haha. The way you explained why different graphics look related at the end because they have the same grid I was like 🤯🤯🤯 You are good 😎 thanks for sharing and educating us! Much appreciated keep up the good work 👏🏼

    • @jc_hardt
      @jc_hardt  ปีที่แล้ว

    • @RockyGrenade
      @RockyGrenade ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jc_hardt I think the odd spacing in this context had to do with "people having a propensity" for it.
      That people like a rhythm of odd numbers in visual design?

      The best advice I can give you Michael is to start with your most important information in the area of the page we look first. In English, we read top to bottom, left to right. So the starting place for me is always on the top left, and the finishing place is on the bottom right. This is a good beginning method of you aren't sure how to position you content!

      @@jc_hardt I say this with utmost sincerity, because I think you're a class act. Also, someone had the courage to tell me something similar, before, and I am now thankful for it. There's an important distinction between wearing a hat, and the hat wearing you. The same can be said for our hair, clothes, cars, etc. I think you may have worked too hard for a particular look and lost a bit of your natural image in the process. Everyone has their own tastes. But, I hope that is somewhat helpful.
      And at the end of the day, you do whatever the heck you want to do, my friend. As long as your lady likes it, that's what matters, because she's the one who has to live with you. Keep making good videos!
