Thank you I just inherited my mom’s 401A and hope to restore it to its former glory. I learned to sew on it in the very early 70’s. It was a wedding gift to my mom from my dad in 1957. Blessings.

Help! I’ve got a 401a. The spool pins broke off during shipping to me. They only stick up about 1/8”. I’m unable to grab from the top. How can I remove them to replace them?
Whey don't you take out the machine and cle an out the suff with a lit tle paint ing broush or or a small paint broush to get ing the saide s and then greese it with machine oil
