11:43 i'm remembering when I played online ALL THE FUCKING DAY hard as fuck maps with homies with a very shitty keyboard (these tiny small wireless keyboards), I was trying my best on something like 5 - 6 stars maps (i'm 4 stars yet), honestly, in the other day I was very okay. I know that everyone is not like that, but, man, that was fun, lol
@@ItsVegaSama How would you train stam without playing long maps ? Of course the goal is to play longer maps to end with real stam maps (jumpetream…) not only 9min anime sh*t. If you can explain what you mean I’ll be happy to debate
2:40 i dont think so, i started to play rhythm games 2022 and now im starting to have problems with my fingers speed, and not because im slow but because i play with weird keybinds which are ghy on left hand and j on the right, i start with the arrows but they broke so i changed and because of that weird keybind i cant move my hands as fast as the other player and my left hand almost dies at 6+ maps but im to used to it to just change
Ive gotten myself into a hole where i only play stream charts and idk what to do. I find jump/handstream so difficult and I cant really do chordjacks etc :(
Hi! Thanks for the video, and i have one question about wrist position: what should i do if both of them hurt me in some way? Playing wrist up hurts my wrist after a long play session, otherwise wrist down hurts my hand since the beginning, and i don't feel comfy at all
Maybe it was a bit unclear but this point should be considered as a case by case as it can also depend on how high your chair or your keyboard is. In your case, ig you should try and play up if down hurts you from the start (when i say up, dont over amplify it, it is a story of about a centimeter from your table) Ig experimentation is the best way to find the answer
personally, after about 2 years of daily play on 4 key and eventually 7 key, pain dissapears. i had some pretty uncomfortable experiences early on when i started out playing fnf, i switched from wrists down without a wrist rest to with one to wrists up (and arms up because i misunderstood what wrists up meant lol) and back to wrists down with no wrist rest, and thats what i use for 7 key now. note i can handle long sessions of up to 3 hours of heavy stamina practice, but thats more a result of hard work and less hand position. dont do more than an hour and a half at a time, if you do you might get pain the next couple times you play
I got some interesting situation that every time I play hard maps like 6* or above only my right hand getting tired, what could be the reason? (right is my main hand btw)
It’s normal to have a « main hand » and to feel more tired but if it’s too strong, try to find another position that could be slightly different. As an exemple, I know my left hand is weaker thus I play with my keyboard tilted to the right so i can test my left arm on my desktop better.
Sure, you have to mod the skin.ini file in your folders. There is a collomn start fonction in it, that’s what you want to increase until it’s in the middle
Depends what you mean by that, if you just don’t like the game, it’s one’s liking to drop it. If it’s just a matter of not knowing were the notes are, it takes a bit of time but eventually you will manage !
casually cracked up at the "league of legends effect" as i can relate to it too well oh god
Great video!! you just shared great advice thank you.
I've found, as a someone who'd only touched 4k maps for most of my time playing o!m/quaver, that playing 7k has improved my skills in 4k vastly

very interesting, this will be helpful!
still good vid in 2024, nice

Yeah, honestly, Osu!Mania has a very good one community
If you have anything to add, feel free to react here, I'll try to reply to everyone in order to improve this guide in time. :)
im stuck at 7th dan and i cant go to 8th dan, how do i get better
Probably more in-depth information on how to improve in the each individual skillsets especially speed, stamina, and LNs
Also training stamina isn’t just playing long maps, thats one thing that I think you said was wrong

@@Baguette2Pain You can train stamina by playing jack files because lets be honest, all stamina maps are just jack patterns

great video man. one question though, do you know how i can change my skin to be in the middle of the screen? mine is towards the left.
Sure, you have to mod the skin.ini file in your folders. There is a collomn start fonction in it, that’s what you want to increase until it’s in the middle
If my head can't even wrap itself around 4k how am I supposed to even try anything more?
Depends what you mean by that, if you just don’t like the game, it’s one’s liking to drop it. If it’s just a matter of not knowing were the notes are, it takes a bit of time but eventually you will manage !
@@Baguette2Pain I want to be good but when playing 4k most of the time i can hit the notes but then it gets to much and i miss a lot instead.
@@Mr-eu9yv It’s normal ! It takes time to get used to the layout, patience will be your best friend, play songs you like to get use to it !
@@Baguette2Pain Of course. My patience might not be the best but we’ll see how it goes
Always wondered, is everybody sees notes as doubles? Does your brain get used to it after some time?
Yes, reading is easier with time, also maybe the refresh rate of your screen can make a difference
merci pour les conseils
no way found jude
